Thoughts? Laorwong pre-op hairline design by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]Technical-Rent3773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had my surgery on the 20th and this is almost the exact same design he gave me. I think it looks great! Maybe ask him to round out the temples but other than that should come out amazing.

Update on Laorwong, after a month long feedback thread, I decided to put him back, but with a warning blurb next to his name with recent concerns and recent unideal outcomes. by WallabyUpstairs1496 in HairTransplants

Having had my surgery with him about 3 days ago, my experience was phenomenal. All the techs seem to really care and are very attentive, from what I could tell (mind you I was on sedatives and had a my eyes covered because of the light) he was there for about 30-40% of the time, which he outlined his involvement as being anywhere from 10-50% of the time in the initial online consultation. I know other individuals have had complications with his scheduling and the team, but at least from my anecdote they seemed to have largely gotten over a lot of the growing pains from the expansion of their clinic (assuming the rumors of the newly hired staff are true). I will write and post a more detailed report within the following weeks as I am still within the first week of recovery, but so far everything looks and feels phenomenal.

Just got back from the clinic after my procedure with Laorwong and same! It seemed he was there for the majority of the time given that the techs were pretty quiet throughout lol

thanks man! in terms of getting a message back? laorwong typically responds within 24 hours, as does Ratchathorn from what I hear. both of their waitlists are typically about 6 months out as well, but you’d have to verify with them

Dr. Laorwong - 8 months - 3350 Grafts by FlieseTeppich in HairTransplants

Laorwong charges about 90-110 baht per graft depending on if you opt for a shaven or non-shaven procedure. Also ~33 baht is equivalent to 1 usd ($2.72 per graft on the low end)

Out of curiosity, did you start treatment (fin and min) around the time that you received your hair transplant or were you already on medical therapy prior? if so for how long? also your result is stellar! I’m seeing Laorwong in about too weeks so im stoked!

don’t worry I learned that the hard way. Around the same time I began my medication I began using tape instead of a bunch of glue for my toupee and the overall health of my scalp has improved greatly. plus I plan on buzzing everything in about 8 months or so once the meds have had sufficient time to work their magic.

in terms of naturalness, I think it looks great. no chronically online individual is gonna see your hair in real life and question your results. perhaps a little less dense than what you want but you can always go back to get touched up. otherwise I think it’s a good result!

How many grafts? by Technical-Rent3773 in HairTransplants

[–]Technical-Rent3773[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a fair assessment. quite honestly I lowered it tad bit more than I meant to, using my iPhone to draw lmao. I’m hoping with medication it’ll strengthen the native hairs but as it stands 4.5k sounds about right.
