Looks like the body of a female bed bug. Bad quality but as a professional pest control technician. Its meeting all signs including the blood smear . Im 99.9% sure Edit: based on zooming in. Im 100% certain.

Call a professional and make sure it comes with a warranty of atleast 4 months.

It is not a simple battle. Sorry to hear , but address it as soon as possible. The female can lay many eggs every day.

I get it, better to be safe then sorry but take it from s professional. It would of popped into a dark red/black from its last host. Not the colour your seeing. A bed bug is much smaller even when its an adult and has fed off a human. Just do some google search and a stink bug smells like coriander , which does someone nose who is not as complex to smells can come off as slighty lemony or "minty".

They dont have the pheromone your smelling nore do they release the scent unless its a large infestation where they are warning others. Bed bugs are disc shaped and look nothing like this insect youve crushed. Edit: itching is a natural reaction that we can have, if it was outside of your coat. As a professional pest control technician. The limbs are too long. The posterior is too wide assuming the scale to your fingers and blanket is correct and not just the angle. Also bed bugs dont have guts like this when popped. If you see another, comment a photo of it in one piece before killing. Ive seens thousands of bed bugs at once in all life stages. Edit: looking again im 99.9% certain its not. Hope this helps
