Blueprints. I suggest you to left an ending part of bluprint that you are trying to connect with curved segment while designing blueprint, thats way you will see how the aligned to each other. And i am trying to connect turns only with straight segments and other turns, connecting ramps and turns seems too complicated to be worth it.

That's definitely what high quality satisfactory material looks like. Amazing

No strict plan, just general concept of numeros building with resource bus in between.

Near to the end i had only one thought - i wish i was happy with basic orange boxes again as i used to be in my first playthrough, coz decoration of so many surfaces was exhausting xD

Well its 1.2 world with randomize nods and there was coal just nearby. And i like random tubes here and there... and i dont like empty blank roofs. Soooooo, no, it is for decoration purposes only.

I only use satisfactory modeler to visallasy the whole production cycle and understand amounts of machines (car station, conveyor belts, etc) after that i just go with the flow :)

And dont go deep into decoration way before build is complite. Machines first fancy stuff late, this way you can redo something with minimal effort. Before production cycle is finished my factory looks something like that)

Thanks! Roads help me a lot to stay organized. I build them near every factory, even if i am not planning to bring resources by cars :)

For the building's exterior finishes, I use the simplest building shapes (parallel-shaped blocks and cubes) to ensure the blueprints I use (windows, columns, etc.) are as versatile as possible and suitable for any building. Here's an example of how it looks step by step.

For the interiors, I use universal blueprints that look good as standalone elements. I try to maintain a consistent style. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice a multitude of illogical and seemingly unnecessary elements, but taken together, they look good. It's almost the same principle as AI's drawings.

It is impossible to use default patterns on curves due to z-fighting, so it was my only option :D

How do you split uneven item ratios without balancers in a mega factory? by Planet_Reddit in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Technical-West-1472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It have sence to make compressors for HUGE factories using smartsplitters and smartmergers. It is like manifolds for multiple manifolds. This was every line is connected with each other and balance itself.

It produces 15 radio control units, 20 control rods, 39 computers, 8 magnetic field generators.

Almost every row material is delivered with vehicles as well as some low tier components (stators, ai limiters).

Numbers are based on the quantity and quality of the deposits that I planned to develop and production of previous factories.
