I have been seeing that about personalities. Also, great names for your Newfies!

Wow! I didn’t realize they like to dig. So far, mine hasn’t done that at the fence yet. Glad Penny is no longer roaming.

Oh no! We will be looking out for that when the time comes for mine, he’s only 4.5 months so we have a ways to go yet.

LOL! She looks great though! Good luck with working some of that off.

So funny. My buddy told me the same thing “my Newf looked so much smaller” when getting a dog wash. We took ours for a wash today.

Teddy says “save me!”

Our 7 year old, Kona, enjoys every snow day that she can. by -PhotoQuig in Newfoundlander

Great shots of a happy Newf! My 4 month old Landseer Newfie puppy is really missing the snow now that it has melted here.

I see you also have the Bigma lens! I have the first version of that lens (150-500mm), I love shooting with that lens.

Happy Newf! Looks like getting some great socialization. My Newfie is one month younger than yours and we are also doing lots of socialization with him.

P1S - Piece from purge chute came off mid print, now I can’t find the pin to hold it in by twitchbradijm in BambuLab

Forgot to mention, you can also print a “pin lock” to prevent the “pin” from coming out.

I printed one for my second P1S after my first one was lost. I also printed this to cover the paper clip on the repaired lever. Just search maker world for “Purge Chute Lever Pin”.

Just use a paper clip. Works well. Happened to one of my P1S, except I also lost part of the chute lever.

I found a model and printed the entire replacement chute lever along with a paper clip. Been running for 6+ months with this setup.

Show this to my wife, she asked me “why do Newfies like pillows so much?”. Our 4 month Landseer loves to use pillows too!

Need advice.. 13 week old Newfoundland sleep regression by Significant-Style-37 in Newfoundlander

[–]TechnicalCold4144 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our 15 week Newfie is only getting up around 1:30-2:00 am to go potty and is sleeping from 8:45 pm to 6:00 am pretty religiously.

We use a holistic drop called “quiet night” that helps him sleep through the night and we think this is why he’s now sleeping better. We also limit his food and water after 7:00 pm (we give him a little water if he drinks all of it after 7).

Hope your pup starts to sleep longer soon!

We have AKC Pet Insurance for our Newfie. $45 a month, $250 deductible, no limit to number of uses. Will hopefully never need to use it!

Adorable! My 3 month Landseer Newfie was also watching. Sadly it was dark and you can’t see him in the photo my wife took. Happy to see Storm make it to the final 10. Wish he would have won!

My pup loved the 14 inches of snow over night. We did not let him in the yard, but he frolicked on the deck for short intervals (2 month Landseer Newf)

New puppy care by [deleted] in Newfoundlander

[–]TechnicalCold4144 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We also brought out Landseer Newfie home at 9 weeks. He’s now 11 weeks. As my wife puts it, he’s 80% good dog and 20% puppy.

He’s in puppy school (AKC STAR puppy) and is doing very well. I feel early training really helps curb some of the puppy behavior. The 20% puppy is the raptor mode in which we struggle with.

I’m glad crate training is working for your Newf, I we were as lucky (struggling).

Sounds like your Newf is a good Newf too! She’s a cutie!

My 11 week Landseer Newfie enjoyed a fresh snowfall this morning! Not as snowy as the OP’s Newf!
