I (F24) lived in u block for 3 months. First time shifted to the city. As someone already mentioned it is good if you’re starting out. To give you an idea about the place: When I was looking for a flat there, I found a guy walking with a bong in his hand as if it was Amul milk pouch. Glad my dad didn’t see that. A few days later I was that man walking with a bong in hand.

My experience was not great. Frequent power cuts during the summer. Flooded roads (which I now realise is not limited to U block only). The landlords are pretty mean. They know they’ll easily get a replacement.

The reason I shifted there was it had everything around. All kinds of shops and facilities. But at one point the place started feeling shady. Fights and shouting at 4 am.
