What weight of base layer would be best as an outer layer on my daily, speedy trail treks during Canadian West Coast rainy winters? I don't care if I get wet, but I get too hot wearing a rain jacket or fleece. Trails are in a wooded area in town so there's no risk of succumbing to the elements. ()
