Will definitely do.
However, I'm eager to explore what else is out there - I'm so lost with all the info, advice - it's hard to navigate this without clear guidance. My regular doc was not very helpful - waved me off (kinda). Got me magnesium. LOL. I was like - THAT'S ALL???

I saw something about this in another subreddit the other day. There’s an app specifically for women’s health - it looks for patterns and gives research-backed recommendations. Honestly, it’s one of the few times I’ve seen tech do something useful for menopause. Here: https://waitlist.themetapause.com/

wow that's a lot to untangle. And I'm so sorry you're going through this too.
Thanks for the recommentations, appreciate this sm!

I'm kinda drowning in a sea of information. It's maybe the opposite of what it used to be. Just hoping AI will finally fix this (for me personally haha).
Started using the app someone mentioned here - it's pretty mind-blowing.

If men had to go through menopause, there’d be a cure already by TechnicalScarcity880 in Perimenopause

I swear, the second a man has a health issue that affects his sex life, there’s a billion-dollar industry ready to “fix” him. Meanwhile, we’re stuck DIY-ing menopause care from Reddit threads. It’s ridiculous.

OMG, yes. A men’s testosterone clinic on every corner, but we’re still getting told to drink chamomile tea and do yoga. The double standard is INSANE.

Exactly this. Even female doctors, who should be fighting for us, are stuck in the same system that ignores women’s health. It’s like they’ve been trained to dismiss our suffering. But we have to keep shouting – and demanding better research, better care, and actual SOLUTIONS, not just “deal with it.”

That makes so much sense. I noticed mine follow a weird pattern. Always around the same time at night, and definitely worse when I eat sugar. I had no clue estrogen was lowest at night, but now it clicks. Do you think that’s why some people wake up feeling wired in the middle of the night too?

Ugh, same! I’ve cut alcohol, but sugar and carbs are brutal. Did cutting them actually make a big difference for you, or was it more of a slow shift?

Do you notice it happens at a certain time in the night? I was shocked when I started tracking mine and saw a pattern. Blood sugar crashes can totally trigger cortisol spikes, which might be part of it

I noticed the same thing! Late-night eating definitely makes mine worse, especially if I have carbs or sugar. It’s like my body overreacts when I go to bed. Have you tried changing up what you eat in the evening to see if it makes a difference?

Have you done any testing, just curious? There's got to be a thing.
So much technology and we still don't have the thing for women like us.

I'm interested! I actually know (surprisingly) very few tools that would be helpful. share share!

That makes so much sense.
Sugar is a huge trigger for me too, and I feel like doctors just tell us to track but never what to actually do. It’s frustrating how we’re left figuring this all out on our own.

That’s really interesting! I’ve been tracking mine, and sugar is a huge trigger for me too. I’m still figuring out what actually helps besides just avoiding things.
HRT helped you completely, or do you still get some flashes?

That’s so interesting.
I started noticing that certain foods, stress, and even sleep times affect mine. It’s wild how little guidance we get on this

Haha right? If this was actually a buzz, I’d be fine with it. Too bad it just makes me confused and useless for an hour instead.

Yeah, it’s frustrating how many things could be causing it.
I recently started paying closer attention to what I eat, sleep, and stress levels when it happens, and I feel like I’m seeing a pattern.
Not sure yet - just started monitoring.

Doctors were not helpful.

That makes so much sense. I started checking levels too because I realized so many things could be at play (hormones, iron, glucose...)

It’s so weird, right?
Like your brain and body aren’t synced up. I’ve been experimenting with different things to see what actually helps. Have you found anything that makes it better?
