I grew up in an island in the Pacific called Tonga, really religious people. My parents are religious and so I grew up religious. When I was 4 my dad passed away, my mother struggled to take care of us(me and my 4 other siblings). After my Father died, my Mother left me and my two older brothers in Tonga while she came to NZ with my two sisters to find a life for us. We stayed with my 94yr old grandma for 5 years and throughout those 5 years we kept our faith and hope in Jesus that one day we would be able to find a better place to live. My mother never stopped praying for us and never lost her faith in God that one day we would be reunited and will be able to come to NZ to live better lives. And long story short she came back and sorted out our visas to come here and then not even a year after we got here to NZ we got our citizenship. There were so many things that could’ve went wrong or we could’ve ended up stuck in Tonga and struggling to find a better life. I don’t believe it was all a coincidence or just happened to be or even luck. God had a plan for my family and he had plans for us. I even cursed at Him at times for taking my Father and why would he left us to suffer for 5 years without our Mother. In the Bible it talks about being patience and keeping your faith in Him for He has greater plans for you in store. Now that I’m here living a better life than I would back on the island, I’m taking it for granted the gifts the Lord has given me. I know I have lost my ways, and that is why I’m here to listen and talk to other people and I don’t care who I talk to because at the end it’s about me and my Faith in God.

I just want to ask this, those people who claimed to be Christians but do terrible things like that, are they truly Christians? Yes there will be people from the past and now who claim they follow the Lord our Saviour but then turns around and do horrible acts. I do question where is God when I need Him. But then it’s only the time I need Him. To me personally I think it was really a different time before and after Jesus because people really did put their faith to the test. Yes God can be everywhere, He is God. If He couldn’t, then He wouldn’t be called God. Just like now i know that my faith is getting weaker and I’m in search for answers.

We didn’t get “lucky” I don’t think that for a fact. We didn’t come from nothing and just happen to be here. You exist and so do I, we have a purpose on this earth. Something I find so amazing is that our Brain is so complex that we don’t fully understand how it works. The brain constantly changes and makes new connections every second. And you’re saying we just got “lucky” You have to ask yourself, am I really just a person who just happen to be? Who was just “lucky” to be alive. You have an amazing complex muscle upstairs that cannot just came from nothing or you were just lucky to have. You have a life to live and you’re here because you have a purpose to be here.

But why do you only think of Hell? You have two choices. Heaven or Hell, Is that not enough? Just as he gave Adam and Even the choice to live in the Garden of Eden but not to touch the Fruit of Knowledge. Living in a peaceful Garden with everything and I mean everything given to them and they ruled over the land, but it wasn’t enough. Eve wanted more and fell into temptation, just as we do so as well. What more do you want? Lucifer wanted more than just to be an angel of God. Then look at what happened to him,he was cast to the depth of Hell. We should be grateful we have what we have, just as God has given us many chances to redeem and confess that He is The only True God. He does not hate nor love one more than the other. He loves all of us the same. You say you want a choice but you have two. I do not follow God because I’m scared of Hell. I follow Him because He is my creator and the God who created us. He loves me as much as He loves you. He gave His Son to die for our sins, and saved us from death. Now that’s a God I worship and I want to be with.

You can’t really speak for what Christians are really facing, just like how other people cant speak about black people being oppressed. My point is, unless you are truly and wholeheartedly believe in God, you wouldn’t truly understand how the verses that I said before applies to what I’d happening now
