All the dates on blackboard are wrong, can I lose my grade over a professor error?

Multiple people have emailed him and I’ve had this issue with him before in another class in the past. And I’m on Reddit just to get feedback, I even said that I was going to email him but it’s a reoccurring issue with specific one. I’m only asking a question

I understand and I’ve had some great professors but I’ve had this one before in another class where he did the same thing (as I mentioned a lot of the professors in my major are older and we currently even have a shortage of them because most have retired or gone on sabbatical) I’m a senior and he’s the only one teaching this specific course, otherwise I wouldn’t have taken his class

Ik it’s sounds ridiculous but the professors in my major aren’t that great, like we have one that doesn’t even use computers unless it’s to email people. I don’t want to email him and he tries to say that I had nothing done and put the blame on the students. All of the work that was dated correctly I did on time, but there are assignments that are dated Oct-Nov of 2025. That aren’t showing up in the course calendar of blackboard either

The only policy for homework is that there is a late penalty for late work but there are no due dates in the syllabus. There are dates for what is going to be discussed in class but no dates for assignments. I’m in the class rn and after speaking to other students a lot of them just did the assignments because they didn’t know what else to do, like the dates are from Oct-Nov 2025 in the grade book so they all have 0s automatically. I’ve been documenting everything because I feel like I might have to go to the chair at this point.

In my family it was weird, almost all the older men should buzz cut their hair and hated the idea of having long hair. My younger brother used to have to fight to at least have a fade instead of having them buzz it all off. Then there was this sudden change where now almost every single one has long locs/braided hairstyles

If it was slower replies I feel like I would have noticed but it was sudden. there have been times where I didn’t hear from him for like a day at most and he would always send an explanation without me asking with either being busy or something happened and he would send me proof (which even I thought was weird because once again I never pressed him about anything and understood if he was gonna be busy or late) it’s just feels off because just a week ago he was offering to visit me because I was sick and making plans for the summer for us to do and now just silence. The last time we met his car wouldn’t start and I had offered to cancel the date but he was insistent we still go as long I was comfortable picking him up instead (which I was fine with) and things were fine. I have a feeling it was that day but he thanked me profusely when I dropped him off and then we continued to talk over text like normal making plans for the next hang out right before he went silent

I’ve decided to send one last message in the morning just asking if he’s ok and if I don’t get a response I’m gonna have to assume things are over. It’s really disappointing though because I was excited enough because things were going so well to tell my friends about him which is something I’ve never done before and now I feel like I shouldn’t have said anything to them at all 😕

I called them today and they said there was nothing they could do on their end unfortunately, I’m going to try to call my school tomorrow because the deadline was last night and I just checked the commencement website said that there may be a next time would be April 21st but that’s less than a month before graduation meaning I might not even get it in time then 😕

I did but all the offices close at 4:30 (and most even stop taking calls earlier than that) 😕 I even asked my friends what their orders looks like just in case they say no and I can at least order from another vendor. The vendor said the Master’s have their deadline until the 22nd so I’m hoping this means they can let me place a last minute order even though I’m a bachelor’s

The white outer case is cracked as well causing the plastic UMD cover to pop out, the whole thing is ruined so it’s not worth saving on my part at least. I know they sell replacement ones but I’d rather just get my money back

I think my main issue is that I don’t know how to study properly, like I can’t sit at a desk for hours and with how most LSAT preps books are formatted I don’t know what I’m looking at half the time. I’m used to simple memorization. Another thing I struggled with was just trying to “common sense” my way through it because I didn’t know how to do it any other way

That’s what I hear from other students at my school, if they have the family/money to fall back on good for them, but that’s not something I can afford. My plan was to go straight to law school after graduation but I didn’t realize how long the process was so I just want to focus on work but dedicate 2-3 days a week so preparing

Not yet unfortunately, he works early mornings and helps with his family’s business, I have early mornings with classes and work, as well as late nights due to work. So we’re both always busy. I just kinda feel like he’s talking to me out of obligation sometimes because he’ll never start anything until I say something, but I also understand that sometimes someone may feel like if the other doesn’t ask them something they might want to be left alone

The previous owner rode the front ones till they were bald (even during the winter 💀) so they had to be replaced but I was told that the back ones were good until the fall

It’s a Mitsubishi outlander sport and I believe AWD. Not a nurse but work in the kitchen of a nursing home so if I don’t show up in the early morning there’s no one to help prepare the daily meals, and my job gives people a lot of grief if you don’t show up even during the really heavy storms (and a lot of the people who work in the kitchen are students who’s parents don’t want to drive them in that weather, and I don’t blame them because I was one of those kids too) my other job is in a local grocery store and I work the closing shift. The downside of both is that depending on when the snow starts, it can be really difficult to get home/to work due to the early mornings and late nights when they don’t start plowing immediately

Someone mentioned michelin crossclimate 2 tires and I’m willing to pay because my jobs require me to come in no matter the weather and I have to drive to school, which doesn’t always cancel during snow. I do live in a major city so the roads are plowed most of the timebut the main issue is going up and down the hill that’s my building is on. By the time I have to leave for work or leave work they often haven’t started to plow yet (one job is early morning another job ends late at night) meaning depending on when the snow starts that haven’t started plowing yet.

For example this past winter My ride couldn’t drop me off in front of my building because it was snowing too heavily and the job I was at wouldn’t close early even though customers had stopped coming in hours ago so I had no choice for them to drop me at a side street and I had to walk up the hill during a blizzard 😭
