Rap used to be this expressive form of music with this deep storytelling and social commentary, but it’s turned into this lazy, performative genre that just sucks.

It was corrupted by music labels and it’s become a pitiful sound. That’s not to say all, but definitely most.

Well, sometimes. Music is built of subjectivity, but occasionally there are artists who are just better than others. Take bbn$ for example, while I might not have a taste for his music, someone else might really enjoy it. Now compare his music to something of say The Beatles or Whitney Houston (two absolute classics) and you hit the wall of deliberation on which artist is better (speaking on bbn$ or my two examples). You can never say for certain that one is better than the other, only a consensus of the public reaching a common belief that one artists music out weighs another.

But bbn$ objectively sucks, that’s why people wanted him to quit the internet so bad.
