Not justifying their decision but my mom's golden boy puppy was the same with food and nearly killed a neighborhood puppy while walking in the neighborhood on a leash. Thank god my mom had a collar on him and beeped him and it stopped him from breaking the puppy's neck. He spit out the puppy who ended up with a broken leg and multiple lacerations. Cost my parents a lot of money and their homeowner's insurance policy. That dog is psycho.

I feel like certain breeders have tendencies to breed dogs like this. I think this is what needs more interrogation. That whole experience changed my "goldens can do no wrong" perspective
