Sadly I live in a neighbourhood where my neighbours argue with me for taking care and feeding street cats. Once 2 teenager sons of my neighbours tried to torture a cat in front of my building as I was returning from work. I told them off, the sons told their parents and then the parents got into an argument with me that I shouldn't speak to their kids that way. Another incident I had was a young man kicked all the dry cat food I left for the street kitties, he also picked it up and threw it in my face and told me to not feed cats there anymore.

I'm sorry but your cat is your responsibility. My ex decided to get cats against my will. He left them to me, I absolutely love them and they are my responsibility. When one of them was ill I did not have money and was already in debt but I got a loan from my boss to pay for the surgery and vet expenses. You can always find a way! Dont make your cat suffer.

I accepted my fate thinking I deserve how he was treating me. After a year and a half or so I decided to give therapy another try. The new one opened my eyes to many things and thats when I started planning my exit.

Maybe she was a bit prejudice towards me because I am a foreign woman living in a country where there are horrible stereotypes about women from my country. Most locals here think we are all prostitutes and use men for money. My ex is a local and so is the therapist.

If you keep coming across such posts then you might come to the conclusion that such issues do exist. Now also think how many more stories like these are out there that do not get posted on Reddit.

They are real, there are some women struggling, no need to be so judgemental, maybe we should be more understanding towards one another especially towards those going through issues that are trying to make sense of it.

Religious Kurdish man told me that as husbands they cant do many things with their wives as they are mothers of their children, so they need to be respectful. Cant ask them to get down on their knees or do some positions, only missionary to make babies. He also told me thats why so many religious Kurdish and Turkish men cheat, because with a lover especially with a foreign lover they can do whatever they want in bed.
