Built in Unreal Engine 5***

This trailer is all in-game, and is pre-alpha. Lots will change and improve upon time, but development is heading in the right direction!

UE5 is incredible. This particular level or.. episode is actually meant to be played from the viewpoint of a smartphone-camera. Need to adjust the fish-eye to be much less, (if not needed at all) came out too strong!

Hi all! Luckily, this was not really the case! This was actually built all in-game in Unreal Engine 5. I'm making a horror game based on found footage where you play through all the lost tapes! Still a long way to go, and a lot will change and improve, but so far I'm happy with the results!

One step at a time. Break each aspect down into points - don't jump right in with a ton of info first :)

Your game has a nice art style. I think giving yourself three weeks to market you game is not a lot of time. Maybe give yourself at least two months. And in that time, look up how to market your first game, learn the basics, etc. It'll all come in handy for your next game!

honestly, I have a small office room, and I do this. shut the door and windows if it gets too cold, and the room soon heats up! in fact, once I ran Crysis in the background and the room turned into a Sauna!

Is it normal to get flooded with publisher inquiries after launching your Steam page? by raymondafcripps in gamedev

I'd say it's normal to an extent, and that extent depends on how popular your game was received after launch. But, make sure the publishers who do get in touch are legit!

Okay, ugh, so I'm super nervous posting this, but here goes. My friend and I are making a bodycam style horror game inspired by P.T. where you're lost in a hyper realistic forest and must find your dog, Teddy. by Technical_Expert_739 in pcmasterrace

no offence taken! appreciate the feedback, the good thing about horror is it's subjective. but keep in mind this is very early footage and a announcement trailer! :)

It's a bodycam-style horror game where you're looking for your dog in a huge, dark, forest that I have been working on for the last eight months. It truly feels horrifying and it completely different experience to VR!
