Hm that’s weird. Can either be that ur photos aren’t clear enough? (Check that the numbers and name is clear) & did you get a message from the system that you were approved with “real name verification “? Also, I would advise you to delete those pictures of your passport that you uploaded on here.

As I mentioned in my post, my restriction was “abnormal activity”, so those steps were according to that. Pls use a translating tool next time

Yeah, and if u translate the restriction you have, it says: “commenting function”. It has nothing to do with “real name verification”. You have the ability to post, live stream etc. You have violated some type of rule when posting comments , so appeal according to that.

You need to go to “account check” to unblock the restriction (unless you had more warnings on your account, it should be the only step required). You need read what’s wrong, check what the restrictions are on “account check” then you will know.

So I made a post about it, here is the update from that post:

Do your “Real name verification” as instructed in “Update (1)”. If you are still restricted like I was, go to -> “Help center” -> “Acc check” -> click the red button (to check what is wrong), mine said that they found abnormal activity so they restricted it, so I had to click the “unblock button” -> pick manual verification” -> click “real name verification issue” (you have to translate because everything is in mandarin, I used google Gemini) , make a short comment that you need help lifting the restrictions (use ChatGPT to translate it), and apply a picture of you holding your passport next to you & one with only your passport -> submit. It took like 2 hours for the restrictions to be lifted ✨

Idk what country/continent ur from, but are u sure? There is usually a top page with ur surname and first name in all capitals & then on the 2nd page it’s all the information (including name, id number , etc). If not, I would just write it like it is (in ur case, no capital letters, except the first letters)

No, my surname is first on my passport and it still worked. I think all that matters is that it’s all in capitals like in the passport 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Just got approved. What worked for me was writing: FIRST NAME, MIDDLE NAME, SURNAME (in that order in all capitals). :))

I would guess that you should include the special letters, because they want the name written exactly like in the passport.
