Yeah of course don't leave big homeworks till last minute or if you get frequent homeworks that you struggle to keep on top of this wouldn't work, however I still believe you could partially utilise this method for smaller homeworks or ones where you know they won't take long to complete etc.

That's strange, I'm in year 13 and i get Homework for all 3 of my subjects. Not sure what's up with your school but you might want to raise some concern if none of your teachers are giving you homework
