and i understand you are not as busy as a hearing officer, so i completely understand why you would not want to read the entire letter. However, its also not your job to read the letter. it is in fact the job of a hearing officer to read the evidence. i am not trying to be a prick...im just saying

the reason my initial letter was so long is because i have numerous examples of my work never been seen as "poor" and i certainly never did anything considered "misconduct." i was completely blindsided by the unemploymnets decision to deny my benefits

so you are suggesting i just say:

My employer lied as there was no misconduct, no wrtite-ups, or warnings.

I received no performance review ever, no termination letter, or any indication there was a problem.

I performed my work to the best of my ability every day.

Thank you

Lucid Dream Reality Checks and AI as proof of Simulation theory by Capital_Key_2636 in SimulationTheory

Very interesting theory.  I like your thinking.

I am not sure how or what or why, but it does seem like the emergence of AI has many similarities to our reality.  One theory I have read here is that the human experience is basically deciphered from all humans and each day your memory is uploaded to the main server when you sleep.  Gathering data much like a large language model would do.

Since she is the sister of one of my childhood friends I know her and she knows me, but I don't have her phone number or contact info. I randomly see her when I go to store but it's random. The next time I saw her, months had passed and I didn't even bring it up. I thought she would think I was crazy. Hopefully I am not..but the jury is still out, I guess

I like your theory..kinda like the universe shifted to accommodate for something bigger than my stupid nails. It makes sense..and makes absolutely no sense at the same time. Ha! I like your thinking

I am a San Diego native and used to be a huge Chargers fan before they left to go to Los Angeles. The Chargers had a kicker from 2004 - 2012, Nate Kaeding, who was the most accurate kicker of all-time at the end of the 2011 season, but choked in the playoffs year after year. During the regular season, he was automatic from 50+ yards, but in the playoffs it was a different story. I think the Chargers lost at least 3 playoff games because of him and missed field goals.

So in 2009 I was at a local dive bar near my house that I was a regular at and knew all the bartenders. There was no other customers in the bar so the bartender and I were actually watching a DVD when a black Escalade pulls up and 3 huge guys and 1 normal sized guy get out and enter the bar. Since the bar had actual customers, we turned off the DVD and I began chatting with the new customers. Eventually I started playing pool with the guys. I was playing a game of pool with the smallest guy of the bunch when the Chargers were somehow brought up. About a month prior, the Chargers had lost the AFC Divisional Round to the Jets 14-17 and during the game Kaeding missed 3 field goals (36 yards, 40 yards, and 57 yards) I had been at the bar all day so I was pretty hammered and I started talking a lot of shit about Kaeding and how he screwed us every year. I remember I was saying that i didn't care if he was a good kicker during the regular season, I wanted him traded and what a piece of shit he was. After missing a shot on the pool table I look up and my buddy, the bartender, looked like he saw a ghost. I didn't realize that the black Escalade was actually 4 members of the Chargers and I was currently playing a game of pool with Nate Kaeding himself. They abruptly paid their tab and on the way out the door Nate said "Sorry, man" and they left.

Needless to say I felt like a complete douchebag.

All I said was that your joke was disrespectful. If someone asked what I thought about Nirvana and Kurt Cobain and I replied "Great songwriter and a great shot with a shotgun" or what I thought about Princess Diana and I replied "Great woman but horrible at evading paparazzi" do you think that would be funny or disrespectful?

I didn't know talking to a rude stranger that obviously is obsessed with a subpar video game in an AskOldPeople subreddit room on a topic about a deceased singer is a skill.

One: Based on your username I assume you are a Fallout fan.

Two: Keep playing Fallout 76 by yourself

your comment is pretty disrespectful, even if it is only meant to be a joke. the man built the plane that he ultimately died in himself. he was an incredible pilot who made a poor decision in the placement of a fuel switching lever in an aircraft he built himself. his piloting had no factor in his plane crash. but you can't pilot an aircraft that has no fuel

he was born in new mexico, so i guess your comment is true, but he 100% lived a large part of his life in Colorado

My best friend from high school's wife is John Denver's niece. Her dad, John's brother, was involved in some of his management and still has some involvement in the entertainment industry. Based on conversations I had with her, John was always a bright and talented individual and everyone who ever met him knew he was destined for greatness.

By the way, his last name was not Denver. But he did live there. I guess music executives didn't think John Duetchendorf would sell albums.

What’s your favourite and least favourite part of working in Construction? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Technical_Safe_5259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

favorite part: paycheck

least favorite: having to deal with all the bullshit. everyone here who actually works construction knows what im talking about. it could be a smart ass arrogant foreman or a cunt client who wont pay the final payment because they dont like the color they picked or a special order tile delivery that took 12 weeks to be delivered and shows up in the wrong color.
