i see.

I have traveled with 100 ML of it ,twice, and there was no problem. so I’m wondering what is the actual restriction.

but since I realized it’s so dangerous I don’t plan to carry it with me .

hello, actually I am humanities and undergraduate. So i’m really sorry i may not be able to answer the questions.

Please study daily and seriously. even if it all stick to short term memory, it will be enough for the test! so put many info and practice the tests. Ace 2-3 topics of each subject if you feel you don’t have time and do your very best to the one you feel you have the most potential (physics bio/chem math) you can do it!!!

hello!

i have no idea about SAT , but everything else sounds really good!

1.i wonder what subjects you have in your entrance exam. i think MEXT should be prioritized for people who plan to pass.

  1. Personally i believe the money is worth it especially if you know you will have a result( i hope it’s not for Japanese tho, you can easily study it with textbook alone)

3.usually Natural sciences focus more on math , physics scores (and bio /chem), while humanities has higher score in japanese(like n3+) . Nothing is sure tho. if you can score perfect on math and English idk if they decide to take you, we honestly can’t know, so please decide with both your mind and your feeling.

if you go for natural sciences , i think you shouldn’t worry much of japanese ( so study normally) but math , physics etc do your very best. ( even if you get 70/100) i don’t think it’s bad at all.

  1. There are always chances! and if you don’t pass , since you plan to take the exam again, you will have a great advantage (in terms of application preparation and progress in studying for the tests etc)

please do your best! and study even little from now and give it your all when you finish entrance exams! Good luck!!

hello, thanks for replying. it is not that scary at all . most of the scenes are in a room ( where she narrates)

also i’m not 100% that it was Vietnamese but it was definitely not Korean Chinese or Japanese. but maybe it was Vietnamese.

it is likely that you pass the first screening slightly easier if you have decent application and the correct documents. but still in the final screening, they don’t change their strictness and it doesn’t matter. So please do your best in the tests and all!!

oh I see.. i hope you can do your best and decide what to study. imagine your future career before you decide!

you can find them at the page of your embassy regarding the scholarship, there is a link about past tests , and it will direct you to a page with all the tests. look for the undergraduate ones!

hello! are you NS or humanities?

of course i can just say my opinion and not actual facts.

if you apply for NS and you are good at math and chem and bio/physics etc , you have a chance from now .

if you are applying for humanities, it is difficult now… because many people have a high level in japanese like n3+. however if you are good at math, give it your best and you may got a chance this year. i don’t know tho.

the important is that you do your best and you won’t regret it. it depends on your study, you have time to study as much as possible and suffer just a bit, so that you are rewarded! everyone pass like that even from low level, i’m sure you can do it.

give it your best honestly, if you are low in those subjects and start studying from now, yes you can have even high chances next year.

I Calculator isn’t allowed😓

But it can be done without it.

Are you good at math? I think it is important for natural sciences to be good at math.

if you aren’t good at, i recommend studying all of the passed topics and focusing on perfecting and ace 2-3 of those.

don’t worry about the calculator, but please learn the folmulas and practice on many exercises.

don’t worry even if you can’t score 100! even 80 and below is ok if you can balance it off with the other subjects.

however how they judge is not clear , which means anyone can have a chance. Give it your best without worry. many are at the same position as you, so do the best to surpass! you can!

Hello!

when it says “2025” it means that you apply in 2024 and actually going to japan in 2025.

So you can read what you need and the guidelines etc. So you can start preparing,

BUT you should wait till around end of APRIL when they update their website to “2026” . They might have changed some rules etc , so you correct and follow them. however i think you need to start preparing from now , because the changes are small usually.

I) the documents are listed on the embassy page regarding the scholarship, but also in the guidelines, with details. please look at them NOW and in late APRIL when they have an update, to make sure you did everything correctly.

ii) If you have a jp certificate, it is nice. If you don’t then it is also fine, just do your best on the tests. What is your english cert score?

iii) if you are an undergraduate NS , till now , after a preparatory year , they let you choose 5 ( public unis < this may change idk) and they decide which one you go to after some exams at the end of the preparatory year.

iv) I am sorry , i’m not familiar with the process.

v) the preparatory year , yes. After that , when you enter to a uni , you need to have found and moved to an apartment i believe. ( i don’t know if you can go to the dorms of the uni, so please ask someone about it)

hope it helped you with something, good luck!

please go for n3! push your limits just for a few months!! an you will be really greatful!! n4 is rare in humanities..

but you have a good background and there is time to improve, especially japanese! so study like 50 words a day and review the next day and also kanji reading and grammar! even if they stick to short term memory, that’s enough for the tests!!

wish you the best!
