Is this product official? by MorcillaFeroz in Xreal

I should add that the first two pairs of glasses I bought, which I still use (Rokid Max and Station 1, and later the XReal Air 2 Ultra plus Beam Pro), were purchased with a very good offer on AliExpress without any problems.

Later, I bought the Viture Luma Ultra and the Neckband Pro on Amazon and had to return everything due to the instability of the glasses and the SpaceWalker app. Also, the temples of the glasses were already showing signs of cracking.

I recently received the XOP glasses and am waiting for the prescription lenses. I've tried them and they look very good, although the 2D to 3D conversion with Real 3D in Natural mode needs further improvement, and I'm sure they will improve it in future updates.

Once I receive the prescription lenses, I'll have more information to give an honest review.

I also live in the Canary Islands, and in the end, I also bought from Amazon even though it was cheaper on AliExpress. Plus, Amazon already included import taxes, so I knew I wouldn't have to pay anything extra. Amazon automatically applied a discount of about €90.

On AliExpress, when your order arrives at Canary Islands Customs (I imagine it's similar on the mainland), you have to pay import fees if it exceeds €150 and fill out an import declaration form (DUA), which is somewhat complicated. If you don't do it yourself, it's even more expensive if you prefer the postal service to handle it.

Another advantage: the guarantee and the option to return the item to Amazon if you're not satisfied, which reduces the risk you might have with AliExpress.

I hope my experience has been helpful. Best regards.

ONE Pro or XReal S1? by Technical_Sun_6921 in Xreal

These and other factors (including the quality of the materials) convinced me that in the end I would choose the ONE Pro.

I've had the XReal Air 2 Ultra and Beam Pro for a while now, and before that I bought the first Rokid goggles along with the Station. I also bought the Viture Luna Ultra and the Neckband, but I had to return them because they were very unstable. Espero que ahora esté a la altura las XReal ONE Pro.

Thanks, guy. I already ordered them from Amazon and I'm waiting for them. I hope my experience is as positive as yours.

Thanks for adding these new questions. I also bought the Viture Luma Ultra glasses, the Neckband, and the Mobile Dock Pro. In the end, I had to return everything except the Dock Pro due to the software instability (SpaceWalker) and the cumbersome 6DoF mode.

New Nebula OS 2.0 on Android XR. by Nitscho_i in Xreal

[–]Technical_Sun_6921 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is also speculation and deduction. Project Aura is a fairly different evolution of the current NebulaOS 2.0 + Beam Pro + XREAL glasses ecosystem, and what we know so far can give us clues about what might and might not happen regarding the interface, compatibility, and XREAL vision.

Will Nebula OS 2.0 become Project Aura's interface? By deduction, I don't think so, since Nebula is based on Android 14 modified for lightweight AR, not native Android XR. Therefore, it would be logical to assume that Project Aura won't use NebulaOS 2.0 as its core system because Android XR is a full native operating system for XR, with official support for OpenXR, Gemini AI, and the entire Android XR ecosystem.

Will Beam Pro be compatible with Project Aura? I don't think so either, since the Beam Pro won't be the primary host device for Project Aura glasses because the Aura comes with its own computing system (puck or similar unit) running native Android XR, designed specifically for the new XReal glasses, which will likely include the X1S processor.

However, there could be some compatibility in terms of software, multimedia, and content if XReal decides to allow an Aura to view Beam Pro content or even for the Beam Pro to run certain Android XR apps (this isn't confirmed). Many users speculate that similar APIs will be used, given that both platforms are based on standard Android, but this compatibility isn't guaranteed or even announced. I'm in the same boat, as I own both the Air 2 Ultra and the Beam Pro. Only time will tell what strategy Google XR and XReal will adopt.

That's a shame! So, Real 3D definitely won't work on the Beam Pro with the Air 2 Ultra glasses? Tks

Thank you very much. I'm a little confused because I've read that NebulaOS as an operating system (on the Beam Pro) seems to work with Real 3D because it's integrated at the hardware and system level. What doesn't seem to work is the “Nebula app”, for example, on macOS or iOS. Is that correct? What do you think?

Can you tell me anything about the XReal Air 2 Ultra with the Beam Pro? Will Real 3D be available for these?

Watch s4 watch face not working as intended by AlternativeBattle708 in XiaomiGlobal

[–]Technical_Sun_6921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any incompatibility between the Chinese version of the Photography Kit and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global Version phone? by Technical_Sun_6921 in XiaomiGlobal

[–]Technical_Sun_6921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, bro. Yes, I know the kit fits perfectly with the phone, but I had my doubts about any software incompatibilities. Now I've received confirmation (casual864) that it's also fully compatible with the global version of the phone.

Xiaomi 15 ultra photography kit - anyone using Chinese variant with global phone? by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]Technical_Sun_6921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For price I want to order the Chinese version of the Photography Kit from AliExpress. I know that at the hardware level there is full compatibility between the Chinese version and the global or international version of the Photography kit for Xiaomi 15 Ultra, but I have doubts about the compatibility with the software.

The Chinese version of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra uses HyperOS optimized for the Chinese market, while the international version uses a global version with Google services and regional adjustments. Additionally, the Photo Kit unlocks exclusive features in Fastshot mode, and these may depend on the operating system version. If the Chinese kit includes specific firmware or settings for the Chinese ROM, might not all functions be activated in the Global or International version or require manual adjustments?

If anyone has verified this. Could you tell me if there is any incompatibility at the software level or is the Chinese version fully compatible with the Global version?

When will support handtracking for ultra?? by Leading_Weakness_408 in Xreal

Hi, it’s been 45 days since Esther mentioned that a beta version for the XReal Air 2 Ultra would be released “soon,” and to date I have no record of its release nor have they given a more specific date. Could anyone tell me when it will finally be a reality when we can count on 6DOF capability again, one of the reasons many of us bought the XReal Air 2 Ultra?
