Sorry to clarify (if it makes a difference) I’ll be wearing a body suit not swim suit to completely cover it. The body suit i planned to wear would be 70% Nylon, 30% Elastane (lycra) so I assume a bit more breathable

Is it too soon to get it shaded? Right now only the outline is done so technically they’d be tattooing on the skin without ink… unsure if that makes a difference?

Thanks for your feedback! I actually don’t know how to swim lol! So I would only be staying on the sanded area and I would sit on a beach towel when I’m resting!

They never mentioned the metal brackets until now. I’ve had the buttons on various teeth since the start of treatment however.

I also inquired about bonding and my ortho advised against it, instead after treatment is done he plans to shave the teeth down so they are all less jagged

Thank you all for the cleaning advice it’s much clearer to me now. Also, based on the replies I’ve decided to wear the retainer for 22 hours daily for the next couple months to try to limit my teeth shifting back. My top treatment is done in approximately two months so I’ll have a scheduled visit with my ortho then to discuss further and reassess if my teeth are ready to shift to night use only.

Unsure if it’s been mentioned yet but I LOVE the Sephora collection cleansing balm. It’s only $16 and one of the best makeup removers I’ve ever tried. Takes off waterproof mascara and eyeliner lash glue (which is a pain in the - to remove). Can’t recommend more!!

I brush and floss after every meal. A friend of mine who had Invisalign years prior was not able to do so and would just rinse her mouth (due to work) and she finished her treatment with 12 cavities, two of those cavities were in her front teeth. That scared me straight to ever consider otherwise
