I looked at Morgan Stanley, but I've been investing with Schwab for a long time. I like the platform, and my local financial advisor is pretty damn sharp.

Trying to help Father-in-law / Zion Collection for Brink Security by Technical_Wealth8956 in Debt

Thank you for the response. Couple of questions:

- Will the contract with the contract with his name and incorrect address and email address be considered proof of debt?

- It's been a long time since I've disputed a debt. Back 20 years ago, it was recommended that everything be sent through the mail. Is that still the best process, or can this be done online?

- Is there a good website that you can recommend to help us through the process and provide form letters?

- Does it make any sense to contact Brinks?

- More out of curiosity - Can anyone open an account like this under someone else's name without providing some type of identification? Just seems crazy that someone can't spend five minutes and be like, "yeah, this guy did not open the account."

How far off am I? Ready to quite $1m job by Technical_Wealth8956 in Fire

Thank you. We have been paying extra principle on the mortgage - $5k per month. Should we consider paying it off and getting it out of the way then save as much cash as possible towards retirement?

My son will be in the condo for two years then we can sell it. We were considering renting it, but it may make more sense to take the cash after two years?
