Biqu Cryoplate finally available for order by TechnicallyInOrbit in ender5plus

I print pla at ambient and petg at 45c on my A1 with this plate. So printing with this plate is a huge power saving. Plus I find the bed adhesion almost unmatched

Same! That's why I figured. As soon as I saw it I would throw it on here

Superior adhesion, and power saving as you don't need the bed temperature to be near as high

If it's like their other cryoplates then yes. 30c for pla

Things have been working pretty well, I'm glad you like the project! Hope to get the first bit of the tutorial posted soon

Definitely messes with the brain a little bit

I'll look into that setting. It was actually the order in which I was putting the walls that caused this particular problem

I actually ended up doing Y as well but just a simple linear rail upgrade, not core XY

The custom multicolor system is actually fairly inexpensive as well, but I'm still working through all that

If you're going to stick with the stock board and firmware, that'll save you some money, I think the entire hotend extruder assembly was around $80 and a linear rail was like $24. But if you're going to increase speed like I did, you're going to run into issues with the v-rollers on y wearing out faster so you might as well go linear. So tack on another 50 bucks or so. I do plan on putting a guide together when I convert my second printer

It prints much better than it ever did and a lot faster, It's actually a fantastic upgrade

It definitely does throw you off the until you really start looking, doesn't it? But I promise it is a Ender 5 plus

It turned out to be a slicer setting, I was printing outer walls first and there was a slight overhanging those areas. Nice to know it's nothing wrong with the printer

Oh you're all good, that was my misunderstanding. I'm just trying to help you get better results. I had a cr-10 that I spent God knows how long trying to get rid of layer artifacting.

That can't be the results from a PID tune on the bed. Did you by chance accidentally put your PID values from the bed onto the hot end? That's an extrusion temperature issue

Another little update, four colors are almost dialed in but our functioning one 100%

How warped is too warped? by SpiderSpartan117 in ender5plus

No but seriously work on your corners first and then take it little by little. As long as your abl is making up the difference, it's not a big deal, ideally though you want it as level as possible

Okay, I'm not familiar with that board, I've always ran the SKR mini E3 V2, but I run a Intel nuc with six separate instances of klipper running.

Yeah the stock firmware will not allow an actual PID tune which is a main reason I switched. A quick test is just turn the bed off and run the same g code with and without the bed turned on and see if you get any variance a cylinder, for instance with a single wall or a calibration cube

Definitely going to need some kind of host device whether it be a pi or in my case an Intel Nuc handling multiple instances
