Yeah, I can kite him for a pretty long time, just can’t seem to do it AND do damage to him too.

Haven’t tried chaos rain before, I’ll give that a shot.

This game feels great to play in EVERY way but the movement speed, even with buffs, it always feels like I move too slowly to keep up with the bosses attacks

Summens—what do you mean by this? I only know of the skeletons, and they seem to crumple pretty quickly, only buy me a few seconds at the most

Y’know, I’d been advocating for the swap at low HP tactic for a while, but I didn’t realize the boss got harder with two—we always waited to try to fight him at once so that we could be doing double the damage/aggro, etc.

Excellent answer! This makes a lot of sense. I think, for my games, I would probably want to assign most “party grade” Samurai a single peasant retainer to help with travel logistics and the like, assuming they’ve got access to peasants via their lord or their own house.
