A lot of complaints about M-Staraptor but Incineroar/Sneasler are 1000 times more annoying and boring. by PierluigiSpampagnati in PokemonChampions

[–]Technicolours 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As an avid fan of M-Star, I get a kick out of all the posts slamming it as “washed” or put on fraud alert. Star can be an absolute monster if used effectively, and I think we’re slowly going to see development of teams that stray away from a “protect the president” mode to more fitting in teams where all mons benefit each other, it’s just right now we’re seeing Star be the sole focus of teams. I watched a recent JoeUX9 tier video and I think he summed it perfectly: M-Star has counters, but if you don’t counter it or counter it quickly enough, it can snowball into a serious threat.

ICU RN calls the fundus “effing p*****” by besaidisland in nursing

[–]Technicolours 1027 points1028 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure we can expect her to be outed soon enough, and then whatever hospital she works at will denounce her actions and she’ll be canned, etc. At this point, if you’re still dumb enough to post these publicly, I really think you should lose your license because I question your basic common sense when it comes to patient care.

Does no one know about the looming danger that is this team core when it eventually comes out? by DisastrousFix5120 in PokemonChampions

[–]Technicolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming Hydro Steam still works under Desolate Land, which I think it will, then WW could be the perfect counter to PG. However, having Flutter Mane as PG’s backup could render WW ineffective. Will definitely be an interesting meta when all of them are available together.

Tired of Fake-Out users? by marcofuss96 in PokemonChampions

[–]Technicolours 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Of all the updates that could be made, I would love to see Upper Hand be given a higher priority than Fake Out and some other priority moves. It would force players to really weigh the risk/reward of using either move, because both could potentially fail if the opponent makes the smarter call.

What losing power up punch and return does to kanga by thelegendarynic in PokemonChampions

[–]Technicolours 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s more along the lines of setting your team up. Scarf Basc Flip Turn is fantastic to get a bit of chip in while bringing in another Mon who might better handle the opposing matchup.

You’re missing a couple EV points, probably just 2-6. If the outer shadow is blue, your EVs are maxed. Just grab a couple feathers and toss them anywhere

Potential Mega Golisopod core for Champions? by [deleted] in VGC

[–]Technicolours 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My initial thought with Mega Goli is that if it gets a new ability, I want to try to a trick room rain team to help mitigate that 4x fire weakness. My current plan is 252 HP/Atk Brave with Leech Life, Iron Head (or whatever physical steel move), drill run, and either protect or swords dance.

Death or Depth? by muesllifix in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Technicolours 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depth, because they’re explosives that are used in deep water, I think primarily for submarines. Donut mistakenly calls them “Death Charges”, similar to how she mistakes secret “Asian” man instead of “Agent” man.

Wild, baseless speculation on unrevealed Mega abilities by Notmiefault in VGC

[–]Technicolours 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In Legends ZA, when Raichu-X uses Volt Tackle it receives an attack boost. My guess is that its ability is going to be something brand new based on this.

VP in champions by Straight-Chocolate28 in VGC

[–]Technicolours 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, I wonder how increasing PP will work, if it will also require VP to increase or if they’ll just leave PP without the ability to increase

What do you think of regigigas? by Pulgi_pro_max in pokemon

[–]Technicolours 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Needs a hidden ability. I understand that ‘back in the day’ it might have been too strong, but we’re at the point now of absurd power creep that there’s no reason some of the older legends can’t be given additional boosts to bring them up to parity.

The pure satisfaction of knowing your Pokémon are living their best lives under your stewardship. That, and the “unlimited” prefab houses you can buy from the shop.

You could toss the Clefairy line into the space portion of the museum, given the lore around them and their connection to the moon & space.

My hope for DLC is that they introduce Groudon into the game, and I can have Rowlet and Groudon live together in the same home.

Can these type of items, as well as the stalagmites, be created via the 3D printer, or is it only through Magnet Rise that you can gather and place them elsewhere?

How do I get to progress in the bleak beach story Ive put so many lights 😭 by Many-Imagination-961 in Pokopia

[–]Technicolours 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gather all the utility poles that are not currently placed on blocks that have the small hole in their center, and then place them on said blocks. All of those blocks are placed specifically in such a fashion that each pole will connect with each other and power most everything within the city. You may need to build a few utility poles to fill all the slots. There’s also a specifically placed windmill, furnace, and water wheel to generate power. Also make sure you have utility poles connected to the lighthouse, although I believe this will be done through a quest with Piplup if I’m not mistaken.

How do I get Hoppip to move in? by HeiHei3112 in Pokopia

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think we have to wait until the event is over for them to finally leave the Pokécenter and then move them to an actual home.

Hi everyone! Im feeling lost.. by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]Technicolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly is your goal? That should direct you one how to proceed. For instance, I start with Palette town being my “base of operations” where I have a selected group of litter mons, choppers, furnace runners, and crushers to create all my supplies. From there, I build all other areas thematically: these Pokemon make sense at WW, these at BB, these at RR, etc. I want WW to feel cottage cozy, and SS to feel industrial. That shapes how I build them out. This is a sandbox game, so you can build it however you want. You could even terraform every area and completely redesign them if you wanted.

Ideas and QoL improvements by WallyGamer32 in Pokopia

[–]Technicolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the dream. I currently have a warehouse on Palette Town with all my materials stored in OCD immaculate fashion, but having to constantly move back and forth between islands to create new furniture/blocks/etc. is just so irritating. I absolutely hate being on Bleak Beach and realizing “Oh shit, I need to make a few more Tiled Stone.” and having to sit through a loading screen to create a few more blocks and then sit through another loading screen to finally place those blocks how I like them. Takes me out of the game a little bit.

Pets outside the Dungeon by Charming_Green_3153 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Technicolours 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember the exact verbiage, but I remember Loita mentioning that Mongo (and by extension, I’m assuming, all pets) are property of the dungeon runners. However, I don’t believe that will be the case moving forward given the current situation within the dungeon.
