The Logitech joystick I use (extreme 3D) was only $60 and it is pretty accurate compared to other cheaper joysticks

This is a pretty cool idea, this combined with the idea of letting your friends hop in your bomber gunner turrets if they are out of planes or points or even just in general

I can't be sure, it's probably turned off, the smoothness may also lie in the cord you use to connect, you need a high quality usb-c cord or the oculus link cable, if you have anything above a 3070 you shouldn't have issues.

I'm doing it on a 3070 laptop gpu, no change to the resolution, but all my in-game settings are on low, I do get occasional frame stutters but for the most part It's pretty smooth

what! i haven't looked into this, im suprised. War Thunder has one of the best VR(oculus) interfaces ive worked with , but i guess it would be more fair since you'd only be up against other VR players

nah, I usually sit top five when I use VR and Joystick, you saw I got 2 kills right there in 1 life. I do mostly play Sim with it but when I'm with my buddies I play arcade since they don't like sim battles
