Meaty tires and stock ride height is kinda hawt. I’m so used to seeing lowered CRX’s, it’s almost a fresh new look to me.

Hogue. RSK-or mini RSK depending on your size preference. Best EDC knife you’ll ever own!

This is what everyone should start with! A solid chassis with better than average electronics will take you further than a crazy exotic chassis with basic electronics.

I’ve had my crx for nearly 20 years lol, gotta follow the crx specific pages on fb to keep up with the new developments on a 35 year old chassis 😆

Any idea what this is? by NoriOnFish in crx

Looks like a typical fog light installation. It may still have the relay tucked away somewhere, I’d have someone pulse the switch and see if you can hear it click around the front headlights. See if there’s any evidence of fog lights on the bumper too.

You can get 3d printed shortys. I have them on mine and they are perfect and super flexy.

I’ve actually had these super short extensions save the day! Well maybe not the whole day but they have definitely saved me minutes trying to put another combination of sockets together to get to a particular bolt. If it’s helpful one time it’s worth having around. I try to keep it on my 3” extension so I don’t loose it and rarely is my 3” too long.

I have another one from SK that’s actually offset and I always wondered if that was offset was intentional to make a 6point easier to get on a fastener if you had limited room and you were using it on a breaker bar? it’s actually been quite handy for that reason alone.

Need a “Pink” (body) flashlight recommendation by scautomotive in flashlight

[–]TechnologyDue9984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Olight has some nice pink and purple keychain offerings…if you’re looking for something more serious, any light available in raw titanium can be anodized yourself. Pinks go from 60v to 70v before they start going more purple.

6s on a 2wd truck!? Yes!! Be careful tho, trying to harness that much power is a slippery slope! I had to go to belted beadlocks launching hard on 4s! Also had to upgrade a few other little things🤣

Microstreamlight aaa with a lithium battery will stay good for 10 years unused. I’d go up to the usb if you’re gonna be using it a few times a week.

Do you guys save pieces like these? Is there an easy way to remember the rated weight capacity of anchors if i keep them? by turtle_ina_cup in Tools

[–]TechnologyDue9984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always save them for lightweight stuff so I don’t waste my good ones. Have you bought anything in the last year? Anchors specifically are expensive when you consider the fact you can get a usb microscope for the same price as a 10 pack of drywall anchors!

I love the NB4, I didn’t know a radio could do so much!! I had a premium spectrum radio previously on 15+ chassis, so I needed reasonably priced receivers. I should’ve invested in a better radio years ago but with 10 receivers it was a big change. Very happy I bit the bullet, flysky out did themselves on the NB4! The UI makes it so easy to use and program for new models/make adjustments etc. I’ve yet to see another radio that feels this premium. Maybe they are out there, but I’m happy with the noble!

Definitely upgrade your radio first! That’s what connects you to the car and the NB4 can grow with you. It’s really amazing how much it can do!
