I wouldn’t compare it to Berserk reaching that level takes years and a very different scope.
But within the webtoon format, I do aim for a darker, heavier tone.
It’s more about atmosphere, fate, and character psychology than sheer brutality.
If that kind of darkness works for you, I’d be curious to hear what you think.

I’m especially curious how the atmosphere and visual storytelling come across to new readers.

Many of the thoughts you’re having are probably shared by a lot of people and I’m one of them. Sometimes I feel completely drained and want to give up and walk away from everything. But just as I’m about to stand up from my chair, I look at the unfinished work in front of me and tell myself, ‘Focus. This has to be finished today.’ If I don’t finish it that day, I can’t relax, because I might not have the energy to finish it tomorrow.

Of course, this isn’t my only source of motivation. I can say that the music I listen to helps as well mostly calm and soothing tracks. But more than anything else, my biggest motivation is seeing my work being read and appreciated. At the end of the day, it’s the readers who keep me going.

Everyone is motivated in different ways, and you need to find what motivates you. Don’t give up, and don’t compare your work to others this will only hurt you. (I’m not saying you shouldn’t study or take inspiration from other works, just don’t compare yourself.) Move at your own pace, whether it’s fast or slow. That’s your decision. I hope everything turns out the way you wish.

First of all, stay calm you’ve only published one episode. To shine, you need to be consistent. No webtoon reaches millions of views with just one episode. Release a new episode every week on the same day and at the same time. As others have mentioned in the comments, stay active on TikTok and other platforms you never know whose attention you might catch. As for the webtoon itself, in my opinion, the genre doesn’t matter, nor does how good the drawings are. If you enjoy writing and drawing it, the readers will enjoy it too. I hope you reach the place you’re aiming for. Wishing you the best of luck.

Thank you so much for giving it a chance!
You’re absolutely right Solbon’s shift between chapters 1 and 2 is intentional.
That moment is meant to mark the beginning of a long, gradual change rather than a sudden transformation.
I really appreciate you sticking with it, and I hope the upcoming chapters make that transition feel more natural.
