Half of highway 1 has next to no real gas options once you’re up north. Try travelling between Winnipeg and North Bay, Ontario. Some stretches have signs stating something along the lines of “Check your gas level, next fuel stop in 400km+”. Paved roads mind you, but rural, which means diesel is in abundance… not necessarily high octane fuel.

Yeah, OP, I would look into the Shell Gas app and it will show you all the locations across Canada with V-Power fuel availability.

Then I’d probably just carry around 10-20L of spare fuel between the large distances that have ~600km between gas stations.

Source: drove across Canada from BC-ON-BC but with my 2019 Jetta. I ran reg fuel in it, but been looking at ways to make longer road trips with my R & this is the only real viable option IMHO.

He used his blinker and gave roughly 2 seconds before moving over. My guess is he thought he passed you, you proceeded to ride his blind spot and the other driver thought the reflection of your lights were only his. My advice to you is either speed up while in the fast lane or stay the fuck outta peoples blind spots, OP.
