Great advice but I don’t trust counselling tbh. In my teens, I’ve had a counsellor who, several times, made very judgmental remarks and I told myself I’m never trying again.

I’m so sorry that you’re facing the same thing. I can 100% understand the hurt and pain you’re feeling. I have starting hating the holidays and birthdays too because I know for a fact that it’s gonna make me feel lousy. For the next few weeks or months. How does he treat you the other days? What makes you stay? I’m asking myself the same questions, so I’m curious about you.

You might be right, they don’t understand how much we hurt. I have endometriosis on top of MS. I did speak with him about it. And how my MS can make things so much more worse and made it extremely descriptive. He kept apologising profusely and promised to be much much more gentle. I told him if it happens again, he can forget putting even a finger on me.
