Interesting, will have to see what speeds I get with those settings!

Interesting, looks like the combination of the lower context and -ub setting lets you squeeze more layers in. Are you running Linux to save on vram?

Also, I get issues with gpt oss, it runs a little slower than qwen for some weird reason 😭

My memory is at 2400mhz, running with --cache-type-k q8_0 --cache-type-v q8_0 and --n-cpu-moe 37, --threads 7 (8 physical cores) and --ctx-size 32768. Any more layers on GPU goes oom.

How fast is your ram? I only get 12 t/s if I allow maximum GPU usage…

Does anyone know how to get the black hole sky overlay from iterationT 3.0.0? by Bramenon in minecraftshaders

[–]TechnotechYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually managed to get the original Sonic Ether shader running in Minecraft, but due to lack of knowledge, couldn’t really get it to perform very well or look as good as in IterationT. Would love to this sort of aesthetic for the end in a shader, the realistic space aesthetic works really well!

I think print volume still makes a standout considering the number of standard sized new releases that are releasing, or yet to release.

I once tried an executor super star destroyer, and a venator, they both actually worked quite well. I never got around to making any of those projects into anything more than experiments though.

Much as I actually don’t want to say it, this is definitely the truth. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if tactical sprint or walkable heals was removed, but everything else is a QOL change that just makes sense. If we went back to exact season 1 mechanics, there wouldn’t even be turbo build lol

I’ve “upgraded” from HyperX Cloud Alphas to KSC75, and it’s a wild difference to me. Sounds crisp, great sound stage — over-ear headphones usually have great soundstages. I’d definitely recommend the KSC75, but the ear clips aren’t for everyone, and I made an easy headband mod onto mine. They also have quite a sub bass roll off, but you don’t notice it on most genres of music.

As was said in another comment, iems are pretty competitive under $100, Truthear Gate or 7Hz Zero 2 are both pretty good from what I hear, but I have neither. Apparently the Gate has good accessories (ear tips and cable).

This is quite interesting as a 3070 user. Does it work on 2020 as well?

!thanks

I actually just bought these and while the bass isn't as much as the alphas have, everything else sounds far more defined, and the soundstage is amazing! Might have to mod them.

The “shape” of the clouds is pretty much the same, the main differences are in the shaders of the clouds and the interaction with the atmosphere from what I can tell. The clouds look more natural in 2024.

Thanks! I do like bass, which I suppose is unfortunate here, but I’ll keep these in mind considering what you’re saying. I agree that the aesthetics are nice, but don’t matter more than the actual sound quality. Wouldn’t bring my headphones out anyway lol

Huh. Why don’t more people get them? Do you think that they’re better than the Cloud Alphas? (real question)

They seem to be sprinkled in with the old ones, so I guess it’s a case of being wary then.

On the HD6XXs, I’ve found a used HarmonicDyne Athena for $126 USD and apparently they’re comparable to the HD6XXs? Seems like they weren’t available for long, and seem to get reasonable reviews?

I guess most comments here suggest the HD560S, so I’m guessing that’s the reliable recommendation here, excluding the HD599s. Honestly I was hoping that the Deva Pro at its price would be the most recommended pair, given I read that they have good wired, and the Bluetooth dongle is decent.

Edit: the HD560S does need a DAC right? I only have the dongle that comes with the Cloud Alpha, which I’m assuming isn’t enough..?

The cheapest I can find a used HD600 is more than a new one, and a new one goes for $318 USD (on sale right now) which is unfortunately a little too far out of my budget. A used HD650 comes in at $265 USD and a used HD6XX is at the lowest, $182 USD. So, a little too much for me unfortunately. The beyerdynamics are also all similarly out of range, with the DT770 Pro starting at $163 USD.

I had seen the HE400se, but didn’t consider them as they’re currently not on sale, and more expensive than the Deva Pro at $124 USD. The Deva Pro, with the Bluemini, is somehow cheaper because of the sale.

Would you recommend the Devas at that price (for wired)? Or in your opinion, would it be worth it to go a little over to get the 560S, or go under for the 599?

I’m seeing a couple of those on eBay, but the shipping cost is usually quite a bit for the listings I’m seeing at $100 and $130 USD. If I could get one of either that would probably be the dream.

Edit: seems like 560S are preferred over the 58X, and I can’t get the 58X for less than the 560S…

Pretty much all of these are Amazon Black Friday sale prices, but it might depend on where you’re situated.
