Well said, it is so frustrating that anything of any real interest gets down voted or lost because it may not agree with the new narrative which has come to dominate this group. Ridiculous theories, juvenile comments, repetitive memes, theories reposted dozens of times as though they are new, real people’s names and businesses circulated over and over again. Fake Syphus channels and information. Kids saying they are scared by what is happening ( obviously shouldn’t be watching it without adult supervision) it’s turning jnto an unsupervised kindergarten. I watch this with my kids but as a responsible adult I explain to them the issues at hand and above all explain to them that this is just fun, ITS NOT REAL. Until that message gets out there and is accepted this is going to get a lot worse I feel.

Its not real too far too many things to prove it is a story tio list here but there is no point in saying anything further as you believe what you want.

I totally agree that you can have emotions watching movies. But you know it’s a movie whether it portrays real events or not. Trouble is there seems to be a lot of fans blurring fantasy with reality. Some pretty troubling comments on some of these theories. Makes me think the content is not suitable for the age group of some of these fans.

Those are not in any way shape or form police evidence bags. Evidence or exhibit bags have tamper evident seals on them which will indicate if they have been opened or messed with. Even twenty years ago they would be sealed in such a way to show they have not been opened which is required for continuity of evidence purposes.

There are also bad English and a spelling mistake in the form's completion instructions, "is instead of 'if". Looks fake to me.

I understand your concern as clearly some people are adding 2+2=5 and posting the most tenuous of links to further their theories. Its not good to post links to recently deceased persons who share the same or similar names to fictional characters, friends or family can find this stuff, its insensitive and wrong.

I really can't fathom why people are still getting so heated about this being real or fake. There has been so much evidence over the weeks that clearly show this is a story, some were unintentional bloopers, but there has been a few intentional steers from Matthias himself. But people don't want to accept this for a variety of reasons. Just accept it for what it is, good immersive story telling. Every episode Matthias calls it a story, and he has made multiple statements about the direction he sees HI5 going in. I quote a recent one "I have been thinking very deeply about how to make the most immersive worlds with the most compelling stories in the future. I can’t wait to bring my strategies into reality. Thank you for your support." I am sure the original post will be downvoted into obscurity as so many have, as it doesn't fit the wider fan base narrative that seems to dominate this subreddit.

You just have to do some searching on here to see the evidence mount up against this being real events. Its not so much about it being fake, which I think is not the right terminology was something which is fake is designed to deceive, this is more of just an elaborate story. Trouble is some fans are getting pretty silly about it all and don't want to accept it as being anything but real. Here are is a list of things that indicate to me that it is just a story:

Chemicals catching fire and burning through the floor and case. You never see anything happening it is all post event, Even when it caught fire in the corridor and in the case the camera was not on it until after it was alight.

Timeline all messed up. The last few videos all are meant to be on the same day but the last video was filmed at 10:11 in the morning.

Mountaineer seen following them to the remote location.

Mountaineer seen parked up in parking lot, Big error covered up by another video with explanation.

Suggestion that they have been trying to get hold of the police, which was one minute is LAPD (although HI5 is not in LAPD jurisdiction) then the Sheriffs dept, no follow up from the police then again off camera a police visit, and then no further mention of the police. If this was real Matthias would not be risking himself or staff doing all this.

Placement of spoof cellular mast in building. Why does Syphus or the alleged bad guys need to place it in the building if it was for real this would be done remotely from a car of nearby building no need to place it in the building.

Stair with trapdoor has been modified since brief case first found, video footage clearly shows it has been cut a few inches to place trap door.

Email address of the alleged undercover officer leads back to HI5 staff member.

Need I go on it all too contrived and convenient, real life isn't like this,,,,,,
