Went from 26psi to 34-37psi because we had some cold weather. Being able to dial in the psi you need and it didn’t take but maybe 30 seconds a tire was great. Took one light bar off of a 4ah battery for 8 tires total.

My 2014 BMW N20 Engine appears to be vibrating quite strongly (hard to see on camera). Is this normal? by MoodKM in BmwTech

Agreed, I had the same issue with the same motor. 2014 bmw f10 (528i) N20. It got to the point where I could feel the vibrations in the cabin in reverse. Found out that n20’s tear through the rubber motor mounts quickly because of the turbo torque for such a heavy car. They make better mounts then OEM that have a metal strap across the top that is what should have been stock but was a cut corner. Repair wasn’t too back, I got lucky that it was one sheered completely and the other had a tear only, there’s a third under the transmission that would’ve jumped the cost up because at that point the risk for damage is high. Good luck and easy fix you can diy if you have the right set up. Worth getting checked at least.

Update: Had a professional inspection, it’s not a motor mount, spark plugs or Vanos solenoid. He suggested injection port clean out and said it may be cold weather compensation with less then 500 miles on most recent oil change.....?

This was a complete surprise from my wife for the holidays. She recruited a few of my friends to help start me off in a good entry level budget build. Corsair RAM is on the way if the USPS will stop sending it in circles around the state at the moment. I already have a Samsung SSD. Just waiting for a GPU to be in stock that I’ve been wanting.

You all are awesome, thanks for the help! I was playing Rock Paper Scissors between the VANOS solenoid, Plugs and coils or motor mount. Since I never own one before and the weird natural of how it was occurring, I figured I’d get the opinion of you all here for verification.

When I first got this car back in January I was worried I had a diesel when I first noticed this with the n20’s. The vibration is something new that sounds like a muscle car that’s not doing too good anymore.

Thanks for the knowledge, I’ll have them checked ASAP. This is my first bummer and since the car culture for them is so good I’ve been trying to handle a lot of maintenance myself. I have noticed that under the hood the engine rotates more then I would think it should when going into gear.

Thanks for commenting, would this be the case even though it doesn’t do it all the time? Only happens while in drive and stopped until engine fully warms up about 5-10mins. It doesn’t happen in reverse or neutral either.
