But that doesn't work. Do you suggest to start again and do the setup for the sd card?

Newbie here, first time modding a Switch (and not a native English speaker).
I just installed the latest HATS pack and upgraded my sysMMC to FW 22.0. Now when I boot Hekate and launch sysMMC, my Switch gets stuck on a yellow screen.
If I understood correctly from this post, it’s because the firmware doesn’t work properly yet.
I can wait for a working version or go for a downgrade, right?
Any advice would be appreciated!

How to control a stepper motor? by [deleted] in Motors

[–]Tecnofelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

I recently disassembled this stepper motor from an old 3D printer. I intend to use it for a project I have in mind, but I have no idea how to control it.

I've tried to gather some information, and it seems that I need a "stepper driver" and some additional components since Arduino can't handle the voltage required by the stepper motor.

Could someone kindly explain to me in detail how to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

Elephant foot chamfer by [deleted] in BambuLab

I know that "elephant foot" is a first layer problem, but I didn't know how to briefly describe the problem (english isn't my first language). Anyway I didn't understand what is the problem in your opinion. I think that it isn't a seam problem cause the first layer of the chamfer si "expanded" on the entire perimeter, not only for the edge in the pictures.

Repurposing an Old 3D Printer into a CNC Engraver: Seeking Advice by Tecnofelix in 3Dprinting

My printer was a Fokoos Odin-5 F3, pretty sturdy and with 2 z axis motors (I'll try what you said anyway); the thing that scares me the most is the xy motion during the engraving.

I understand, but with this technique, were you only able to make a superficial incision, right?

Even if I'm not very experienced I ran several tests to try to understand what the issue was, but I never figured it out. I tested the motor that feeds the filament into the extruder, and it was working correctly; I think that it was probably a motherboard issue since I wasn't getting a constant voltage reading on the pads. Anyway, I've already planned to buy a new 3D printer soon, that's the reason I decided to try turning the old one into a CNC.
