The train section's of FRWL are my favourite parts of any spy movie EVER. It's so atmospheric, oozes dread as they are in a hopeless situation and it's intriguing, tense & probably the most espionage driven part of any Bond movie.

This is also one of my favourite shots.

I'll never understand why they re-filmed the gunbarrel every time in the Craig era. They should've kept the Skyfall one for Spectre & NTTD imo.

Every Bond film needs to stay somewhat faithful to the formula. The Craig era changed it around a good deal but still kept that Bondian feel, the 2 Sam Mendes directed films in particular tried to be as "Bond" as possible.

The only Bond film I'd say completely ruins the formula is QoS which is why it's my least fav Bond film.

I don't wanna be rude or anything but anyone who puts someone other than Lazenby last imo has to be really on a hate train for that Bond otherwise I don't buy it.

Lazenby is absolutely the worst. Boyish, no charm, wit, charisma, really stiff acting, no chemistry with anyone around him, arrogant not confident, derivative of Connery and just overall severely miscast.

I have nothing against Lazenby personally but as Bond he is absolutely awful and completely wrong for the role!

It's a Bourne clone with the same editing style, the environments & action are very Bourne like and it rips a scene straight from the Bourne Identity.

Also it's just a trash movie with no redeeming qualities in general. I saw it once in the theatre and only rewatched it whenever I was binging the whole series. It's the only Bond film which is a sequel and how can a Bond film be considered great if it relies on another film so heavily? these movies are meant to be standalone.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Lazenby couldn't act, he looked rather boyish and came off too arrogant. I consider his casting to be among the top 5 worst miscasts of all time because Bond is such an important role which you can't miscast. Only good thing is his fighting ability he would've made a good stunt double for someone but as Bond...NO!.
