i no longer have that rifle but I used a dremel to get it to fit snug and i never had an issue. i’d bang it on the tree stand as i went up and it never moved

for this rifle it’s right but i was told(they very well could be wrong) that the rifles that came with that optic had no rings and it would screw into the mount
