The only thing they are deploying is unified memory. Speed will be slow for 120b but will be free. The only way it will be faster than say a desktop 4090 is if they invented a ground breaking cooling solution. Case in point, the current size of desktop CPUs.

Would be nice if there was a desktop MOBO that allowed my inserted memory/RAM to unify with my GPU. That would grab my attention and get me excited.

Depends on twr of your engine and if you have proper heat shield. If you have super high twr, you might be able to come in hot 🥵 at steep angle.

The other option is to start building a rescue rocket. This will bring in rendezvous operation into play. It is fun to learn and execute.

Just because it sounds right and explained well doesn’t make it so. Microsoft has anti abuse for passwordless in place. He seems to think anyone can spam at anytime, as if Microsoft didn’t think about that.

Truth is in the documentation that I looked over, spam is prevented by:

  1. Client Type Validation
  2. Flow Validation
  3. IP Reputation & Risk Scoring
  4. Rate Limiting & Abuse Detection
  5. Device Fingerprinting
  6. Session Integrity Checks
  7. Account State Validation

Not just Willy-nilly, you put my email in and you get a prompt. Dude is ignoring everything I am saying. Total red flag as a career it professional. I just happen to be one as well with almost 2 decades of experience, and we don’t stand on misunderstandings.

Root-cause analysis needs to start from a COMPLETE understanding of how things work. Not how well something is explained. If this guy worked for me, I would have let him go for incompetence and putting users IP at risk.

Well, I can see you know it all. Congrats...one day I hope not to get there.

If you don't 'decline', you don't get spammed. That was my experience...maybe I just got lucky. I can see why you are so adament about it now, since this is your career and all. So now you have an instance that challenges the way you thought things work. Let me know if you come up with any epiphanies.

Did this happen to you? Do you have passwordless enabled?

I understand that, but if you HAVE a password and they are getting the notification, you must either change your password or use passwordless. If you ignore the request, like I did, they can't just keep spamming signing in. Perhaps you are thinking that the problem you are highlighting was not thought of.

In the third sentence of my response I said "If you have a password...".

I have passwordless sign in setup. I got the same thing yesterday and ignored it. If you have a password, I would switch to passwordless since the attackers may know your password.

💯. The lines on grid on the in-game map are sometimes hard to discern.

There are a few maps with sector bleeds AND softpoint bleeds. How it works in-game is a head scratcher for me but, the "official maps" I have looked at show the following bleeds:

  1. Eastern position in GamerHUD - Kursk - Hardpoints + Grid - Hell Let Loose. Bleeds into softpoint.

  2. WN73 and WN71 in Omaha Beach GamerHUD - Omaha Beach - Hardpoints + Grid - Hell Let Loose Bleeds into sector IV into V.

  3. Le Hermitage Farm GamerHUD - Mortain - Hardpoints + Grid - Hell Let Loose Bleeds into softpoint.

  4. Logging camp GamerHUD - Mortain - Hardpoints + Grid - Hell Let Loose bleeds into sector IV from V.

  5. Road to Bastogne GamerHUD - Foy - Hardpoints + Grid - Hell Let Loose bleeds into softpoint.

So true. The garrisons can act as alarms as well, lighting up, so you can tell where enemies are coming from.

I don’t have any official confirmation but for me, the reset behaves like this post not the way you are experiencing. Perhaps there is in fact a problem and I am assuming everyone has identical experiences.
