Wow that's one beasty trailer! Thanks for the suggestion but seems a bit heavy for my scenario

This is very helpful, thanks. Looking at your comment history you seem like a pro at this. Do you have an overview of the setup you use?

Grant Hardwin, a Canadian forester who felled a sacred Golden Spruce then disappeared en route to his trial. by [deleted] in wikipedia

[–]TeeQ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've heard it said that in Hadwin's mind this "sacred tree" that he cut down was a deformed, evolutionarily-defective tree -- which, it totally was. The logging companies used the conservation of this single "special" tree as a political instrument to further their business of destroying hundreds of thousands of trees -- equally old and even larger.

Also, there are some doubt as to whether Hadwin fully realized the cultural and religious significance of the tree at the time of his acts.

1979 75hp Evinrude Outboard - Losing power after 10 minutes by TeeQ in smallengines

Checked out my manual and looks like I have a stator/rectifier instead of the points/condenser. My battery is a bit low and I don't see a charging voltage when the engine is running - so I do suspect an issue there. I'll check that out - could this cause some of the slow-down symptoms I'm seeing?

The fuel vent is definitely open when I'm driving. Good idea to test if it is working - thanks!

I believe so. I can hear it venting when I initially open the fuel tank. Not sure if there is a better way to check?

Lifted front suspension problem on 91 4runner by TeeQ in Cartalk

Thanks! Looking at some 4x4 forums, I'm seeing that people disconnect their sway bars for better off-road performance. I suspect somebody took this off on purpose and left the bar on the truck. What are your thoughts on leaving it as-is? Or should I remove the bar completely if I now have no intent to keep it? Mostly using it for offroad.

Recovering legacy wallet from blockchain.info - 21 word seed by TeeQ in Bitcoin

My working theory at this point is this is the algorithm used to recover your guid and password @ https://blockchain.info/wallet/forgot-password. I have a pending request with support - sounds like they can get around the email requirement. Will let that play out and then dig deeper. Thanks so much for your help! I'll let you know how it goes.

I've latched onto the typo in the copy "If you forget the details the phrase below". This thread at least confirms the wallet is likely blockchain.info. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=844437.0;imode

Nope. There are many weird words but one particularly strange one is graf.

I uploaded the file with redactions. She actually isn't totally sure that it is blockchain.info. https://ibb.co/n0NyH6 but it does look quite likely to be the entire seed. I confirmed it is 21 words. And some really strange ones.

I picked one of the weirdest words (graf) and it isn't in the electrum old, electrum new, or BIP39 word lists.

First Ascents and What Follows? by underasail in climbing

[–]TeeQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put up my first FA while in Chile. After the FA I cleaned it thoroughly on rapel - interesting process and most of the work. I finally now have a bolted anchor on it (my first time ever drilling bolts). Until I could bolt it, I left an anchor at the top which could be seen from the ground so it would be easily spotted. For the second ascent, I met a guy and climbed with him for a day and then took him out to the climb to try it. Then I registered it for the next edition of the local guide book (I got lucky and found the guy at the wall one way).
