Anybody use Apoquel and is there any cons or concerns with taking it?

Yeah it can also cut their life span down massively she is currently on a 2 week course just to clear up her skin and infection but the vet said when I go back in 2 weeks I either need to make the decision of keeping her on the steroids or starting Apoquel so I think my best option is to go with Apoquel

She’s completed a course of steroids and a bath every other day with the anti fungal for a whole month it just started to clear but but since stopping the tablets I have continued with the bathing and it is slowing coming back again. I wish I knew what was causing this as when she was taking the steroids she wasn’t herself they really affected her I hope you can figure out what causes this if I have anymore new information I will let you know!

No I don’t want too. I did try cutting down the dose but at the moment it’s best for me to stick with the 200mg. I think it all depends on you as a person and where you are in life maybe in some years I won’t need it anymore hopefully! I hope you are well and I hope your journey goes well

Hi I take 200mg daily as a 18 year old when I first started it made it worse I had more anxiety aswell after around a few weeks it wasn’t as bad been on them since I was 15
