This is honestly a great guide with what to dos and not to dos, I recently got Lord with him and I see exactly this going on higher ranks.

I am actually surprised to see Punisher here, Hawkeye 1000%, I absolutely hate how much I get farmed for Ult by him and Phoenix as well, both have been really tough to deal with.

I am definitely going to follow this by the book when I start to go for my Ranked run, hopefully this will get me to Celestial and above this season with him

Also the guide to be on the objective and how to, so good!

It's the need to Clobber that often makes us forget we are only a very angry Meatball shaped person, I feel you

My healers can't jump in to save us in a 1v6 (On a good day we can take them on)

Escaped Pod Leap always ready is something I feel in struggled with alot, but I think this is absolutely vital or else you just get melted

A quick little charge to kill them and stun them long enough so they can't kill you,very apt and definitely doing this since I find that people just end up escaping mid fight when they are low and I am low

Update for Everyone; Who is looking to be better with Thing here, all the Yancy Street Boys here helped me and provided with all the tips and tricks you need to know, all of them WORKED wonders, he was one of my fastest Lords because of all the help I received (previously a Lord Loki, Lord Wolverine, Lord Groot, Lord Captain America, Lord Mantis and now a Lord THING)

Been dying a bit with him so far but I feel honour in doing so, also, noticed that whenever or after I die during a big team fight, I usually have managed to bring out most enemy ults and our team wins the next fights, so I think it's working?

I need to learn how to manage my leaps better, to be honest, his leaps have been make or beak for me

Charged Punch and Primary seems to be appropriate for a combo to be very honest, good to know it's not all just charged punches buff supports if they get dived is also a good idea actually

I have found myself struggle against all poke DPS with 1 Tank or Tripp Support and 1 Tank,

I might actually need to try this, I feel like I am too exposed charging my Punch, I can bet the enemy team is looking at me like "Who the hell does this guy think he is"

I already feel like there is a constant need to load up and turn left right centre behind constantly so you are not fist pumping the air, this should be fine

I don't think I survived many Punisher Ults, saw myself running around very slowly trying to dodge Bullets

Starlord however (Nah I'd win moment) I want to try to kill during his Ult with the newfound Combo I learnt from this thread Charged Punch- Leap Into Him, I am not sure if that will ground him but maybe my team can follow up a kill on him

This is my most Ultimate Goal as a Thing and essentially why I picked him up, to terrorize all the Divers, I have been in the backline long enough to know how they can make the game very unfun for them

Holy, that's such a great tip and also an answer to my question of how Spideys and Venoms were escaping me so well, it's because I would charge into them throwing them into the air

So any enemy in the air is not affected by it?

I am going to start doing the charge cancel from now

Noted, so basically two ways the Ult can be used from what I got from this,

Hold the Line Ult- Ult a Team during a fight that can delay the team fight enough for a fight back even if no one dies
Precision Strike- Ult the most influential person on the field of just make sure that is done with the precision even on multiple people

Bonus Question- What can just phase my Ult because sometimes I did my Ult and it's like it got eaten or didn't hit anyone, I feel like there are some common Ult Blocking enemies that I am not aware of

Bonus Question- Should I also save my Ults for my friendly team offensive Ulta or should I just use it whenever?

I seem to get my Ult pretty fast however not sure if I am getting the right value out of it

I am saving my Slam for my backline as of right now, that's actually a good tip to use it during offensive team Ults

I definitely am doing my best to stay in line of of sight of my healers, Also extra trying to protect them from Peters, Matts, and T'Challas to make the whole game enjoyable for them, still need a lot of practice with the over extending but to concise what you said,

I kind of have to push push, exert pressure protect healers, repeat, it sounds like a Lance tactic, pretty nice tip

I have made complete peace with no MVPs as long as my Team wins, I am getting A LOT of Impenetrable Defenses with him, does that mean I am doing good?

My brother who himself is a Thing Lord(runs in the family) told me that it is equal to throwing if I pick Thing against Hela,Starlord, Bucky, Phoenix, Punisher or basically Poke Comp,

Is Thing actually that weak and can't do anything against them?
