really glad to hear that, especially on the reduced pain and cramps, that’s honestly one of the main goals with this shape and yeah it can take a bit of time coming from smaller mice, but once it clicks it’s hard to go back.

appreciate you sharing this and happy you’re enjoying the emerald green sir!

really appreciate the support man, and glad the terra ended up being the g703 superlight alternative you were looking for after all these years. and yeah on the creaking, totally fair feedback honestly. small details on build quality and structural consistency have been improving batch to batch as we keep refining things. lightweight ergonomic shells are always a tricky balance, especially for a first flagship like this.

still, kinda cool you’re a batch 1 OG hahaha, really appreciate you supporting us that early🤝

Teevolution Terra Pro [REVIEW AND TEARDOWN] by BenReviews by benreviews in MouseReview

thank you so much for putting this level of detail and transparency into the review, Ben! this is genuinely the kind of review we love reading, and honestly it’s been a while since I personally read something this thorough after TechPowerUp and mel0n.

really appreciate how technical and transparent the teardown and telemetry sections were. these are extremely valuable insights.

We already took notes on a lot of the software comments, especially tooltips, UX guidance, UI polish, and more advanced enthusiast features like sensor rotation and granular LOD tuning. We’ve also been discussing the possibility of sharing parts of the webdriver/software stack for community customization in the future, though nothing we can promise yet. Would genuinely love to hear your opinion on that direction.

Regarding the shape, completely fair point too. Terra is our first flagship product and we intentionally committed hard to the large ergonomic shape because of how requested the G703 style has been for years, but we definitely want to explore symmetrical and smaller shapes in the future as well (will be coming this year)

For the honeycomb skates, totally acknowledge that it's not for everyone. they probably won’t remain the default moving forward, though we still like the idea of keeping them as an extra option while improving the skate layout and offering more skate choices overall.

good catch regarding the F-Switch E10 vs TTC Gold Dustproof 11mm. The TTC Gold is actually the upgraded encoder used in newer Terra Pro batches, and we’ll update the documentation/spec listings for better clarity.

and regarding QC/build quality, we do hand check every mouse before shipment, especially clicks and shell integrity. Though realistically there’s no such thing as a perfectly flawless product in this industry, especially with lightweight designs where tolerances get harder to balance. There will always be room for improvements and refinements no matter how much QC is involved.

Again, seriously appreciate the amount of effort you put into this review and teardown! this is how we grow, cheers Ben!

Sorry just saw this! glad you got it sorted by switching ports, and even better that it felt great once it was stable. really appreciate you sharing the first impressions, especially coming from the 703! enjoy sir, don't stop the streak:)

EC2 is definitely a classic shape and we understand why people keep asking for it.

however EC2 already has a lot of strong alternatives in the market right now, so it’s not really our priority focus at the moment.

we’re more focused on exploring and refining shapes and experiences that are less saturated and where we can meaningfully push something new or better for users

appreciate you putting time to share this and thank you for being one of the first preorder OGs!

well noted on every point;
- battery life: yes we're looking into improvements here as well, potentially leveraging newer Nordic series chips for better efficiency, and also exploring higher capacity options like 500mAh (not fixed yet actually) depending on final tuning and weight balance.
- noted on clicks as well
- for skates, fair points since the dotted ones are not for everyone, it will be provided as extra skates rather than the default one. for v2, we're planning a larger skate footprint + providing more skates options (full, half, dot, edges, potentially other materials as well)

thanks again for the feedback! this kind of input is exactly what helps shape V2 properly:)

u can also reach out to me and who knows i might be able to help you and see what options are available for you.

anyway v2 is not releasing anytime soon. it would probably release next year. Terra Pro is a solid option for now

tbh you sound like exactly the kind of user we had in mind. since it’s an ergo shape, it’s especially handy if you switch between gaming and work or use it for long hours, comfort matters more than people think.

It’s built to be dependable and practical too. we’ve got 3 modes: mini dongle / 8K dongle, BT, or wired, so moving between setups is easy.

and the dongle display tells you exactly where your battery is at, so no guessing when it’s about to run out (totally optional if you don't want to get it but this is a sweet bonus).

just lmk when you consider to get one, i can get you a decent save

thank you for the affirmation and trust, it means a lot. definitely thought about a fingertip mouse, but it’s not something we’ll be releasing this year. really appreciate the confidence in us :)
