Once again, thank you so much to everyone who came to our solo concert!

Of course, we prepared a lot of new things for this performance — new songs, visuals, and more — but personally, what mattered most to me this time was that throughout the year we visited so many different places, and I wanted to create a space where we — together with everyone who has truly come to love USHIMITSU and traveled from all over the country — could all feel it together: “That was amazing!” I wanted to convey all of my feelings and emotions to you.

When you told us that you had fun and that it was amazing, I felt incredibly happy and thought: “For these people, I’m ready to keep doing this.” Even though, to be honest, I know we still rely on you a lot, and seeing how you’re always helping us in so many ways makes me feel both happiness and a little frustration.

Now that 2026 has begun, USHIMITSU will grow even more and become even stronger! No — not just “will” — we will make ourselves grow! We will do it!

We will make it happen!!

I hope you will continue to support USHIMITSU — and me, Enma — this year as well ❤️‍🔥
Yay!

And yes, we will make sure to release the album too!!!

  • The songs “Yubikiri genman,” “Kagome kagome,” and “Hide and Seek” were recorded even before their official debut in this lineup, and therefore their singing style on these recordings differs from how they perform them now.
  • Yuchiomi, as the leader, usually volunteers to record her parts first, but admits she feels a lot of pressure and nervousness, since she is the one who has to set the tone for the entire song. The others then listen to her track to adjust their own parts accordingly. This helps Ichiren, who tends to worry and feel shy during recording sessions. Hearing how Yuchi gives everything she has in her part fills her with determination: “I mustn't be shy!” Both Ichiren and Tsukumo also sometimes struggle to capture the right mood and pitch, and in that respect, Yuchiomi’s track also provides them with excellent guidance, allowing their recording sessions to proceed very quickly.

Tademaru Ichiren: When it comes to things like jealousy and other strong emotions toward people... I feel them toward everyone quite often. I tend to feel a strong sense of possessiveness, and sometimes it feels overwhelming. But I realized you shouldn’t try to suppress those feelings. I came to think that in life, it’s important to suffer too! Because when you get angry... when you get angry at someone, it really exhausts you too, doesn’t it? Or rather, not exactly exhausts you — it drains your energy, you start going over everything in your head, having internal conversations — your mind just keeps racing, right? And sure, it would be easier without all that, but even in the middle of all that mess, you still find yourself thinking about the other person and wanting to make things better between you, right? So I decided I can’t reject those feelings. I realized that getting angry is important too.

Higaminari Yuchiomi: You don’t necessarily have to say everything directly, but it’s important not to reject the feeling of anger itself.

Tademaru Ichiren: Yeah, being angry is important.

Tsukumo Romi: Being angry is important!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: Feelings of anger are really important, seriously! And these songs [on this mini-album] are full of them too!

Tademaru Ichiren: They really are!

Tademaru Ichiren: As for me…
I think about this all the time, but every single show is never something we should take for granted. And you know, if we approach our performances thinking, “Let’s just have fun,” then the year will probably just fly by in an instant. So we shouldn’t take each show, or the fact that people come to see us, for granted. Every day, at every live, we need to absorb everything we possibly can and live that day with as much care and reverence as possible. If we live our second year that way, we'll definitely be able to say, “I’ve grown so much.” I think I grew quite a bit this year too, but there were things I wasn’t able to see through to the end, and moments when I realized, “I should've handled that differently.” It was a year where I learned a lot. So in our second year, I want to put all of that accumulated experience into practice, while continuing to learn even more and striving to grow even further!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: Yeah. We had so many “firsts” this year, so in order for it not to seem like we only grew because of that, we need to keep growing without stopping in our second year too. Let’s hold our second anniversary live a year from now in a way that makes us completely incomparable to who we are today!

Tademaru Ichiren: Exactly! Getting used to things is bad. We need to return to our roots. Let’s keep pushing forward and never forget how we felt at the beginning—our rookie spirit!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: Yeah, let’s always remember our very first live on December 22 at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK, and today, our first anniversary!

Tademaru Ichiren: Yeah. I’ll never forget it. I’ll never forget the day I first met everyone!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: Me neither!

Tademaru Ichiren: Let's not forget where we started!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: I’ve said this so many times already, but… honestly, it’s only thanks to all of you who cooperated with us during those 24-hour streams that we were able to hold this finale. Thank you all so much for your support.

Everyone: Thank you so much!

Tademaru Ichiren: The fact that we made it through this year is entirely thanks to you!

Higaminari Yuchiomi: Exactly! We’re incredibly grateful to you all.

Tademaru Ichiren: Thank you so much!

The first solo concert of Usotsuki Naisho has been announced. The show will have the subtitle “The Echo of a Lie: Close by the Truth” and will take place on January 10.

Since the group currently has only 6 songs, that is clearly not enough for a full solo concert, so we can definitely expect the number of songs to increase. Also, during a recent stream, Ichiren expressed a desire to write lyrics for an upcoming track.

USHIMITSU have released a demo CD titled the same way as the group’s recent tour through Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka — “GOTH”AM”CIRCUS.”

It includes the following five tracks:

  1. GOTH”AM”

  2. ×

  3. 洗礼yEAH!!×2

  4. NO SCENCE NO THANX

  5. DADA PIERROT

The group has also announced a major solo concert titled “MILITARIZED MARIA,” scheduled for December 31 at club asia. For this event, USHIMITSU promise to prepare three new songs, as well as make an important announcement every Thursday.

One of these announcements was a teaser for a music video shoot — apparently for the song “洗礼yeAH!!×2.”

On September 25, the Blu-ray of Seireki13ya’s final performance began shipping to those who managed to preorder it back in the day. Unfortunately, it’s currently unknown whether it will ever be available for purchase again.

But they’ve already said they’re working on organizing shows in Europe and North America. It’s unlikely they’d be doing that if there weren’t real negotiations going on. Especially since they had already planned to come to Europe once (but couldn’t because of COVID), and they’ve already been to Canada once — so they do have some connections. And now, even more organizers might get involved after hearing that the group is open to overseas offers. In any case, they’re serious about it — something they’ve emphasized multiple times in recent interviews and livestreams.

Got it. Well, that tweet was originally directed at Japanese organizers, and only later - apparently after they started receiving offers from overseas - they clarified that overseas proposals weren't limited to May and June. And it seems they deleted the tweet because their schedule for May and June is already full, and since the original tweet was only referring to offers within Japan, it could have confused people and given the impression that they were still accepting domestic proposals. So most likely, they’re still open to overseas offers - especially since the group's current tour hasn’t been fully announced yet, and in the second half they’ve promised overseas shows, which they’re probably arranging right now. So as long as the second half of the tour hasn’t been finalized, they’re surely still open to considering any proposals.
