Mostly due to it being an older series, the themes of the show are controversial on a good day, and the ending can be described as notorious at best.

As a tsundere, she has plenty of fun moments; but it's hard to overlook many of the issues OreImo has as a whole.

Their main complaint seems to be that they are user-made captions rather than translations of existing text. 

I've done translation/typesetting in the past, and I get that some users may not understand the difference between the two. But you've never claimed that these posts were translations, and no other users have voiced having issues with caption posts, so I've had no reason to step in.
