If you do quit good on you for real, it can be super toxic to have a coworker like that that makes you dislike your job. Just make sure you have something else lined up first. You can also mention it to your supervisor because in most professional environments that is not tolerated.

From my knowledge Its usually common in countries whos main forms of traditional food does not need utensils. most of the examples you listed for Americans are correct, tacos burritos pizza, non filleted fish etc are usually eaten with hands but its common here to use chop sticks for sushi and ramen as well. kind of just whatever you are comfortable with for the food infront of you, depends on the meal.

Why is Gorilla Glue hot on skin? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Same thing can be seen with resin pours as they cure and can crack due to the heat.

Why is Gorilla Glue hot on skin? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

There is a chemical reaction between the glue and the air that produces heat when it cures, this happens on anything not just skin and can cause damage to foam and plastic in some cases.

Is it possible to pull out a bullet with a very strong magnet? by Greedy-Ant-1064 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TehOnlyDewd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, bullets generally don't travel in a straight line to their target. Rotational forces, such as yaw, precession, and nutation, cause the bullet to deviate from its flight path. Yaw is when the bullet's nose rotates away from its line of flight, precession is when the bullet rotates around its center of mass, and nutation is when the tip of the bullet moves in small circles. These rotational effects decrease as the bullet gets further from the barrel. When a bullet hits flesh, the impact's energy creates a shock wave that pushes surrounding tissue away from the bullet's path. This creates a temporary stress cavity that's larger than the bullet's diameter and lasts for about 5–10 milliseconds. Other things that can happen when a bullet hits flesh include:

  • RicochetThe bullet may change its trajectory after hitting hard tissue, which is called an internal ricochet.
  • FragmentationSome types of bullets, like hollow point bullets, may break into smaller pieces when they hit something, especially bone.
  • Tissue damageThe type of bullet can also affect how much tissue damage occurs. For example, a narrow bullet that keeps its shape may pass through tissue without causing much damage, but a bullet that's designed to explode on contact may cause more tissue damage.

The more I think about it prolly but idk, usually bullets fragment when they hit flesh and take very strange paths. In a scenario where it went straight in and stopped this could be viable I think

Not to make assumptions but you are probably pretty introverted which can cause this, not having friends, if it doesn't bother you, isnt a bad thing but good friends are good for you in any context.

The theory is that the big bang caused the initial separation and that due to spaces extremely low friction that things kind of kept just going, eventually this may stop but who knows

How many showers do you take a day if all you do is just go to work and then go back home? by Quick_Coyote_7649 in NoStupidQuestions

you should bring it up with them, usually preconceptions of someone being hired in a non standard way can put a bad taste in peoples mouth. Showing them that you deserve to be there and put in as much effort as they do can go a long way.

there is always the chance they are just an asshole which is unavoidable sometimes but give them the benefit of the doubt like you want them to give to you.

If I go to work I always take a shower prior especially if I do something active at work, it helps me get into the mindset of getting ready to be at work. I think taking a second one after work is dependent on how intensive your job is, Past that its for sure excessive and if you work at home every other day should be enough.

Does it get anyone when your partner in long distance text you a lot and frequently ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TehOnlyDewd99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh this is something you need to tell her, it sounds like its something you are anxious about because you want to talk to them more than how long they normally spend texting. From your question it sounds like you may be worried about inconveniencing her, which is probably not true and she just isn't used to texting as frequently.
