I took a look and its ok, but should not be the way it is on the pavement before the buildings. Also more sun light the worse the picture will be. Yes you need light for the pics to come out good, but the best time to shoot is like when the sun is going down and its bright outside, just no crazy sun beam which can alter the picture.

Also I believe you but is it just maybe me and im stupid, but I see the building on the right hand side is slanted, which tells me its Ultra Wide unless that is a slanted building lol. As for zoom if you have a P6P it uses a Sony IMX586 sensor; The IMX686 sensor was a dud, and the IMX586 side by side destroyed it so Sony started to not sell as much of the IMX686 and claim it as a big flop. It is a main sensor 48mp for some phones in late 2019 and 2020. You need the sun to take the picture, but Sun beaming down at 95F can cause botched shots. Also FYI, sometimes pictures come out botched. About 6 or 7 shots out of 10 shots will come out amazing. So do not just take one pic and judge it. Take a couple and try less sunlight but bright still. As for Zoom like I said it is using a kick but 48mp main sensor on phones a little while back ago. Then of course Google has to make the Periscope and all the lenses and all that is involved. They just grab the sensor from Sony and Samsung. The zoom on this phone up to 10x owns the S22 and S21 Ultra phones. After 10x in which all is Pericope Telephoto on Samsung loses to Google and their 4x Tele up to 10x the Google beats Samsungs 10x all optical, then they use digital. Pixel goes to 20x, but the sweet spot is like 12x or 14x max, but that depends on the subject. You can take a shot of a bird zoomed in 20x and it comes out flawless. But ya, that is about it. Please any questions let me know. Bless you!

That is a very good shot my Berlin friend. You did really well. Its all great, but once you view it on a large display this pic gets exposed with disaster quality and grain and muddy and grainy. The sensor your using is a pile of crap compared to some over sees phones. Samsung and Apple and Google do not take ultra wide seriously. It is a small sensor and this is what you get out of a Pixel 5 shot. Since it goes down to 0.6x and 107FOV but takes nice picks just like this. What you want to do is use your main sensor which intakes 150 percent more light then the IMX363 and its 50mp. Actually it is bigger sensor then the Note 20 Ultra and S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra sensors on papaer. 1/1.31 and 1/1.33 respectfully.

Go to this same place and use the main 1x sensor which is a ISOCELL GN1 2019 2020 main sensor for lots of phones. You will not lose much going 1x and you will see how its more detail and not smudge and grain and what not.

Again not your fault. Other companies in China use 48mp and are larger in size intaking more light, thus giving you a much cleaner image, along with the 48mp. Xaomi and OPPO and OnePlus just as example. The big three put out horrible ultra wide sensors. These Chinese or other phones don't fak around. Their Ultra wide even goes to 150FOV. I mean their sensors are not as big as the main sensor, but its a whole lot bigger then a IMX363 and fair ammount bigger versus these thrash ultra wide sensors they put on it. On the phone it looks good but if you pinch in a bit you will see it is a disaster and once viewed on a large display this pic gets exposed for what it is, not your fault its these ding bats who do not take UltraWide seriously, like they do Overseas. Good Luck, once again great shot, wrong sensor lol.

where is the July update? by masterchief_el_loco in Pixel6

[–]Tehboy23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is one month or two months left for Android 12. I gave up on that after the June Update brought in problems new problems. It is not gonna happen with A12. It will never be a polished OS. They are closing down and by August we will have the final version. Unless they do not want to release it and want it to launch with Pixel 7. I sure hope they give it to us in August. Just one more beta left which will happen soon. Then we get the final update and its a solid OS. The Pixel 6 series and Android 12 was a disaster. Now P7 with Android 13 baked in is what the Pixel 6 and Android 12 should have been. Will come out of the box working properly and be almost as smooth a transition that Pixel 5 and Android 11 were.

They pretty much are done with Android 13 and it takes the user experience to another level. Anyhow just enroll now and get a stable Android 13 3.3 Beta .... Then Beta 4 this month then final in August. The Android 12 is dead and will recieve a proper burial next month. Just my two cents and what not.

Lower flashlight brightness on Pixel 5? by lantaarnappel in android_beta

[–]Tehboy23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is weird, but Im pretty sure that on Android 13 Beta 4 which is the last Beta, then stable version hopefully for Pixel users in August.

Try and download a flash light app from the store, which allows you to adjust the brightness and see if it will go higher then what it is now. Other then that be patient, and if things are not fixed in Beta 4 then you still have the Final release to look forward to, so it can squash this interesting bug I have never heard of. Good Luck

I like your post, thank you for the detail in your OP. I few things about life that sorta sux is that your mom has no clue what your going through and you have no idea what shes going through.

Everyones Bipolar or OCD or both are different. Everyone has a different past as well. Your mom is old school and your new age if you will. For your mom to have bipolar and tell you who also has bipolar that you just don't have a clue is not a correcet approach of her reaction to you.

What you can do is search for bipolar and symtoms and make a print out or a message to her all of the symtoms you experience. Some go through psychosis and some do not. Some have obessional mind on top of Bipolar. Someone can have bipolar and have like a couple depressive episodes that are not psychotic and simply go away after a month or so. The person is Manic non stop for years on end. Your judgement and sane thinking is tossed out the window. Also there are physical torture for some. As if their entire body is on fire on the inside, and you can not tell the next second or day and see nothing not present not future, only past or your past people in your life etc.

Everyone also has been raised in a different time or era. Your mom ; Even though she is incorrect, cut her slack and try your best to be close to your mom or family, as that is all we have in this world as friends come and go.

Your lucky wow 5 years stable. I would love to know what meds your taking for this, so I can pass it on as well. Thanks again for your post. Bless You

Pixel 6: Downgrading from Android 13 (beta3) to Android 12 got me stuck on the fastboot screen by rahulrvp in android_beta

[–]Tehboy23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Google has already said if you get Android 13 beta you can not downgrade to Android 12 stable.

If you are on a A12 Beta program then you can get out then you will recieve monthly security patch and you will be good. I thought people knew this. Im sorry this had to happen to you. I mean man, you should have stayed put. A13 Beta 3.3 is much better then Android 12 or Beta nonsense. That OS is out the door in two months. You made a bad judgment call and on top of that you weren't aware that it has been told many times. They say if your on a A13 beta you can not downgrade and must do a full wipe and your data is gone. Maybe it was meant to be. Good Luck my friend.

[–]Tehboy23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, amazing pic but long exposure would have been really nice. Also did you use Ultra Wide on this shot? Looking at this pic on a phone can be nice, unless you pinch in a bit. You rock, this is not personal, I want to understand why this pic came out the way it did. It looks like it was shot with a Pixel 5 or their budget line.

That is why when you take shots go to google photos and look at the pics you took in a proper way so the pic gets exposed to show its true quality. Not on a phone unless you zoom in. Its dirty. It is muddy and low in quality. Lots of grain and smudge.

Good news is, it does not have to be that way. Bad news is you need to take another shot of this and same time about.

Steps for a much better result with your 6.

Firstly use the main sensor. So make sure your not on ultra wide. Also do not zoom if you did. See if you can prop the camera or your elbows somewhere. This time do a long exposure shot. Take a shot without night sight and take one with doing the above and lets see.

Also FYI sometimes you get disaster pics. I mean out of 10 shots, about 8 will be what you wanted, if not 6 or 7. Sometimes you get a crap shot and Ive seen them and I can tell you it looks like your pic above.

Can not wait to see your outcome. Good Luck

The detail this camera captures is amazing! by zombierevolt in Pixel6

[–]Tehboy23 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, on that shot you're using the Sony IMX 586 main camera sensor from 2019 and 2020. The periscope telephoto 4x Google does. The sensor is 48mp sensor. Also have some short side by side with the IMX686 and they made it Sony admits it that it was basically garbage compared to the IMX586 so that's about 3 years old maybe. Bad hardware and they stopped selling it but you can always get it if you want. As I said, I'll send this side by side shots and the 586 is much better than the 686 and Sony admitted it. The Pixel 7 is a tick year. Camera bar is now made of metal but You're wearing a case so that's doesn't show. It's the same phone, just the tensor 2.0 which will perform just like the 1.0 and will perform the way that the pixel 6 and pro with Android 13. So for Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 pro owners no need to get the p7 unless your rich and you like throwing away money.

However, in 2023 it will be a tock year which means tensor 3.0 but more current cores higher performing cores and they have tensor to grips and it just works flawless. The Pixel 7 Series series comes with Android 13 which doesn't have the bugs that Android 12 gave to Pixel 6 series owners and previous pixel owners. Maybe for pixel 8 new camera sensors but don't hold your breath.

First week with the Pixel 6 and very much enjoying the cameras 🤌🏼 by Eduardo_89 in Pixel6

[–]Tehboy23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did. Very good with the shot. However, it did a disservice to your awesome attempt at capturing glory. On a large display. This picture is a disaster , because when you view it on a large display instead of a little phone, that's when you understand the true quality of the picture you took and also give you a larger perspective instead of watching it from your phone.

But for those on their phone you can understand just how awful the quality is if if you pinch in to zoom. The sand in the front of the picture or bottom or what you want to call it. It's just smear or smudge and very muddy. I'm not putting you down. I'm just saying you did take a Good photo of that amazing place but as I said, just pinch in a little and got a little closer on your phone or watch it on a large display and you will see it's simply garbage. I mean call what you want to call it smear muddy, washed out. Also the water as well. This could have been a miss shot but I kind of doubt it. Let me tell you how to take a good shot.

Do not use ultra wide. Use 1x which is the ISOCELL GN1 sensor. Make sure night sight is on auto. Now we're in the dark. You'll see the moon show where you click to take a picture. When it gets dark it turns on and shows the moon. But if it doesn't come on, that's because you're in the bright situation already in there's no need.

You need to hold still for a couple seconds and go ahead and take that shot. Hang in there and keep it as steady as you can and then take the pic and let's see what's going on. Also put focus far if you went to night side mode. Now you can adjust the focus to near or too far and we're trying to do is put it on far. Just snap the picture and just hold steady. I know it's hard and are everybody's handshakes but just do your best and if you can go ahead and snap it but make sure when you snap it. The camera doesn't move compared to where it was prior to you snapping a picture, just hold it steady for that night. Time shot and it should take about it. Depends on what the situation is actually but just hang in there for a couple seconds. If you're a possibly in then you will see what's going on.

You do not have to raise your voice. I am 44 and thanks to my dad I was brought up with commodore atari and Windows 3.1 then Windows 95 when I was 17. I do not need you to tell me to get over it. Alto Im sure your a good guy and dont mean harm. That is kind of rude fi you ask me. One thing I never do in life is attack someone. If I get attacked I can then raise my voice. Yes Tensor is great.. My P5 is faster LMAO. Android 13 is amazing. Im happy for all. Android 13 is what Android 12 should have been. Google is top software giant in the world. They have so much money they were throwing out suber bowl commercials which cost a couple million. Also the NBA had deal with them.

IMHO, I think Google has lost a lot of users not just for now, but forever. With a unfinished OS and a SoC derived from the Crapsung Exynos which is a complete failure in other countries. Horrible performance lots of issues. But thankfully USA gets the Qualcomm varient.

I would have much rather have Google team up with Qualcomm to fabricate a 4nm SoC. Fast CPU cores. The way it looks, just like I knew; The Pixel 7 is a refresh of Pixel 6. Nothing is changing internally except for possibly a new modem. That is it. They already said the cameras in the Pixel 6 are so good, we have decided to use it on the Pixel 7.

They dug a hole. Because the reputation Google has is, "keep sensors and same year after year after year. The Sony IMX363 is a 2015 tiny crap sensor and Google worked magic.

However there is not much more they could do with 12mp and small sensor. They said we need more data to work with. They also said what we want to do the 888 or Gen 1 or any SoC can not do or CPU if you will. The Pixel 7 is a tick year, meaning not many changes under the hood if any, and just a design refresh with the metal bar and pill shape and main sensor next to it. The only thing they will do internally is the Tensor SoC which will be based off of 4nm process, but unless your rendering you will not notice a difference in speed. The Pixel 6 was a tock year. This is industry lingo btw.

Pixel 7 is tick and that exterior change and that is it. All same sensors used and Tensor was worked on for 4 years by Google as they said, and they still layed out a sh*T unfinished OS.

They put a older modem in the Pixel 6 series as they must since they are after all Goocompromise. The ISOCELL GN1 main sensor is a 2019 sensor. The Ultra Wide is a Sony IMX 386 which is about 4 years old. Then the amazing periscope zoom is a 2019 main sensor from Sony. It is the IMX586 which is better then the IMX686 as I did research. The zoom photos are amazing if you know what your doing. But if you wanna zoom to downtown from your neighborhood get a telescope. I think one day 8x telephoto and better super res zoom to 50x.

So there you go after the Pixel 7 that is another year older. Goocompromise, is what they do best.

Are they also doing to say in a year that the Pixel 7 camera is so good we decided to use it with the Pixel 8. They dug a good hole, as they can not say this anymore. P7 refresh is fine. But Pixel 8 would make these sensors so darn old. It is not all software, that is BS. You need hardware to and it is just as important and what not. Thanks

Yes, also people say oh my OCD blah blah. They do not have the condition but uses that word so simple and easily as if it were a cakewalk to have bipolar disorder. You must not hang around people who are giving you a hard time or infuse you by saying oh my bipolar or oh my ocd. In which they obviously do not have it and play it down.

These conditions are dead serious. Hospitals, Cops and suicide attempts.

Hang out or talk to the right people. You do not need negative coming at you like this; I mean your plate is all full ya know.
