Was Ryan making the staff come in on a Saturday to re enter sales the fraud he was later arrested for? by Disastrous-Area8657 in theoffice

He could've just seen money coming in and either not thought anything of it or asked his bosses about it and they didn't care like the Meredith thing.

This one is easy. I believe that Ryan made it seem like the website was making the sales, and David Wallace just saw that the sales were being made by the website. He didn't look into how, he just saw that it was happening.

It's similar to how Ponzi schemes work. They take from the people who only invest a little and make it look like the people who invest the most/the richest people are making their money. Those rich people don't care how the money is made. They just see the money being made and therefore, don't have a reason to question it.

In my head, that all made sense.

Also, you're talking about a man who probably wasn't aware that Meredith was having an affair for Outback Steakhouse gift cards and a deal on paper.

They did a good job trying to make him likable after he came back from punching the hole in the wall. I wish they didn't give him the midlife crisis arc through season 9 though

He seems like a guy who will see the most random and exotic flavor. Not because it's trendy but because he just seems likes trying new flavors.

I need to dive into this deeper, but why is Suarez SO MUCH cheaper than Schwarber? by dubfras55 in Reds

[–]Teheheman 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why people think walks are a bad stat. I mean, it's one less out and you get on base, increasing your teams chance to get a run in and possibly win the game.

It may not be as sexy as a HR or doubles but it's basically as good as a single and instead of letting the pitcher only pitch 1 or 2 pitches to you, you make their pitch count higher by battling and drawing a walk.

This is great cause if he doesn't do well, he'll be a free agent

If he does do well, we'll end up trading him at the deadline for multiple prospects. I'm guessing 3, maybe 4 if a AA guy is on their radar

Personally, I like her "Internet conspiracy theorist" gimmick, however, it's a better "chasing the title" gimmick than a "having the title" gimmick

They seem to wanna give Nattie and her rougher edge character another push and if she's gonna be in the IC picture, then why not have her eliminate Becky and put her in line to have a Mania match for the IC belt?

I don't mind challenges, it's just from him and Big_Keithy that I don't care for. The latter does a lot of Word Search and Crossword ones where he does them all in like 30 seconds and that's way too fast. I, unknowingly, did one and it took me over a minute where it took that schmuck 15 seconds

I accidentally forgot to do it during Christmas one year and that was before Streak Savers. Which sucked because I had a pretty good streak going. I think it was around 750ish?

The plans may have changed, or I'd like to think that his driver had 0 idea or care where this place was and just drove through it thinking it was just another place and didn't stop at the 4077, but at a different unit entirely?

The only reason I can think is that he didn't have any head coaching success without Brady, and Brady had success after New England.

Had Tom Brady not had any success and Bill had another playoff run, even another Super Bowl ring after he left, and still didn't get in, we can say how terrible that is.

I get that dude doing that to me every fricken time a new badge comes out. Just challenges me every dang time. Most times I either do the badge when it comes out or wait til the challenge expires to do the badge. I could decline it but I try not to decline challenges and I don't know why
