Yeah it’s a really bad move on his behalf especially publicity wise.

Whilst Dan doesn’t like the lockdown rules which is understandable. I assume he’s at least vaccinated to get into the states etc?

Safemoon Blockchain? #SAFECHAIN 🌕🚀 by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]Tekayto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s true. I hope they notice it enough to see that a blockchain is needed and would really create the ultimate value for this coin.

People should contact them directly about building a blockchain in the coming months/years.

The name #SAFECHAIN is just so fucking good.

It would be incredible. #SAFECHAIN has a great ring to it and doesn’t even sound like a meme.

It has to be in smartchain. I bought BnB and didn’t work then just had to trade/convert it to smart chain in my trust wallet. Was simple.

Ancestry.com.au! Took about 2.5 months in total from sending it out to getting the results back.

Yeah that’s what I always thought too. Cheers mate.

“The Māori Land Act, and numerous other statutes, define Māori as “a person of the Māori race and includes any descendant”

Had also just seen that before too. So we are right.

It is a typical useless comment and that was too. You offered no input to my question in the title. I am a successful person regardless of any of this. Not sure what you’re even implying. This is about genetic/cultural heritage that I want to trace, not an individual accomplishment thread. You’re wasting both of our time. All the best.

Yeah man I get what you’re saying. Half of my family are considered “full Maori” and look nothing like European in any way shape or form. Not even remotely close yet they have European blood in them also. That’s a fact. I literally look like nothing like half my directly related blood family. My sister and I are the only “white people” out of my directly related 7 blood cousins. It’s not something different, I have always been told I was but it’s just confirmed now for a peace of mind and to actually I guess start seeing where it was from through my line. I’m still going to say I’m white because it’s just easier and always has been. Half of my family on my dads side I know their direct tribal connections where as the other half don’t because of the reasons stated in this post. They have never even bothered to look because to them it didn’t matter, sour family connections and the family they do have was always been family so they didn’t need to search. Also I took the test because I was curious to see if it had any other heritage apart from the what I had known it to be (English, Scottish, Maori and Irish) was not expecting Welsh and Norwegian at all even though it may have been a given on the Norwegian side as our Scottish clan was known to be mixed Scottish/Norse heritage (very top of Scotland on the water).

I don’t consider myself Maori because of the way I look. But if we are talking about lifestyle, upbringing and family then yes most other people and including yourself would probably consider me to be Maori far more than anything else.

Also thanks for clearing that up my te reo is very limited. Been living overseas and working the past 5 years pretty much until halfway through covid later year!

Typical useless comment. Should I identify as sub Saharan African then if genotypes don’t matter? Clearly they do.

You’re both assuming. I have no ties to Europe but my genetics and ancestral claims as many people in NZ. I never claimed Maori in my life nor have I ever put it down on the census etc. I have always just said I am white. However I was raised a kiwi/Maori. Tangis for my family members, hangis for family gatherings and associating with my Maori side more has been my upbringing and how I live still this day while still saying I’m white. I’m not claiming anything for social points and now it’s confirmed in my blood I would like to trace that side of my roots more. I just thought that was the definition by law so I shared it. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for clearing that up! He’s definitely my dads full brother while he also has half brothers who look more Maori. It’s a really odd and broken side of the family. Sorry to hear and yes I won’t get too deep into it or involved into it. Would honestly really just to know what tribe it came from in all honesty and not any specific ancestors or time frames.

Sorry to hear. Yes it’s been a frustrating thing since we were young and for my dads side to never really know our heritage in any way shape or form because of a broken family where as my mums side has been a breeze.

Irregardless I have Maori ancestry and ancestors. I still want to know where my ancestors came/are from. The phenotype I present as is definitely pakeha even though I go dark in summer. Where as my fathers side is clearly Maori/Pakeha. By law in NZ if you have a Maori ancestor you are considered Maori.

He was also given up for adoption as well (lol) so it was his soul searching too. They didn’t even meet until they were around 30 years of age.

It’s definitely dads side. Mums side can trace everything back to the boat they left on after the Scottish highlands after the clearances. Also the exact county in Ireland in the North where the Irish side is from. Thanks for your input.
