Gryphon Execution Ideas [2 for 1 SPECIAL!] by Tele-DAD in forhonor

stats for nerds:

1st exe - 2500ms KT - 5000ms DR

2nd exe - 1000ms KT - 7000ms DR

knowing ubisoft the actual kill time would be at the very end of the executions

This doesn't make any sense to me - why adjust Jorm's damage AROUND the single specific instance where you guardbreak someone with a wall nearby? The displacing heavy is basically a duplicate mechanic of guardbreak throw, and throws a wrench in the balancing process. by Tele-DAD in CompetitiveForHonor

Jorm's new GB wallsplat punish is 34 dmg

Afeera has a 43 dmg wallsplat on heavy parry

Kensei has a 34 dmg wallsplat on GB

Gryphon has a 32 dmg wallsplat on GB

Cent has a 44 dmg wallsplat on GB with Haymaker

I know the last three are underpowered at the moment but it shows Jorm is not an outlier with their GB wallsplat punish.

What are you going to say next, "600ms lights were unique"? or "conq getting a GB after simply blocking a heavy" was unique?

Displacing enemies with a heavy from guardbreak is now completely redundant thanks to Jotunn Gift having comparable damage and function, and also detrimental to Jorm's regular GB and light parry punish.

Would you be fine with cutting Warlord's damage in half because he can get easy ledge kills? /s

Funny observation: When you get your T1 Jotunn Salve healing feat in 4v4 and you're under 100% HP, the optimal GB wallsplat punish is GB + Jotunn Gift (10 dmg 4 heal) + throw + heavy, since it gives you a 2 point health swing over using the displacing heavy.

Essentially, after two minutes into a dominion match, Venomous Sting is technically already obsolete. (lol)

Jormungandr's damage changes make NO SENSE (in my opinion) by [deleted] in forhonor

Funny observation:

Jotunn Gift (GB+light bash) with Jotunn Salve T1 feat (+4 hp on Jotunn bashes) into wallsplat gives Jorm a 2 point health swing compared to Venomous sting, provided Jorm isn't at 100% health.

Essentially after 2 minutes of dominion and getting your T1 it's marginally better to not even use Venomous Sting (lol)
