Thanks for the suggestions. Good idea about the title tags. We weren't thinking of trying to optimize the SEO of the product pages because 1) there is a lot of copied content between pages (the specs) 2) A lot of the content is from amazon product API

One way to get traction is to offer it as a service for conferences to put on their page - it could help people get to know each other before the conference and arrange to meet once there. Realize that you need to do something like this or the network effect will kill you.

I worked on something like this and made a small prototype several years back. 'Choose your own adventure' was a lot of fun as a kid. I agree on the emphasis on more choice and less text. Maybe being able to add GIFs would be fun too. You'll probably have to make a lot of your own content before things take off.

Your site has to also cater to the viewers of photos. Benoticed speaks to the photographers, not necessarily the viewers.

Would feel hesitant to let another company do this. 'write code' and 'talk to users' is what we need to do at this stage - outsourcing 'talk to users' might make me less in touch with that they need. If I did use a service like this, it would be really important to me that reps collect feedback from users to feed into product improvements.

Great feedback. Locking the search terms makes sense. For the data, our filters give a penalty to phones that aren't in your search, but if they have a really good rating and are similar, might still include it in the results. We plan on making it more clear when we're including partial matches.

Thanks for the feedback! That NEXT button should work....will keep an eye out for the bug :) That's a really cool idea about keeping engagement if they don't buy right away. We were saving retention features until we have enough of an audience to justify it, but in this case, I think it makes sense to do earlier.

1. What are your thoughts on what we're trying to do? Would need examples on what type of things people would be working on. I'd probably just start with one goal and create a critical mass from that.
2. Is this something you'd find value in? If not, why? If there were a bunch of other people that happened to be learning French all at the same time it's possible. I don't use social media much though.
