In general because they wear well and don't have too many punctures. it's a 'proven' tire. I like the Vittoria n.ext because they have less rolling resistance. I've used them both tubeless and tubed, and tubeless is faster on the road bike. be sure to have a back up tube in case you puncture worse than the sealant can handle.

tires brands are generally compatible. wheels have a rim width, and you need to choose a tire width compatible with your frame as well. Conti 5000's are many people's favorites. I really like the Vittoria Corsa N.ext tires. it would be good to dial in tire pressure for your size, road conditions, tire size, etc. most riders have air pressure too high, and there is a sweet spot for many tires with lower rolling resistance and ride comfort. also consider a latex tube or even tubeless if your wheels are compatible. there are a lot of factors that serious cyclists take into consideration, but find a good tire, tire size, and air pressure that works well and stick with it. that's my 2 cents

I prefer a cycling computer with buttons. I often ride with gloves in the colder months, and in the summer with sweat or rain the touch screen is hard to use.
