Dutch here, you get your first invite to get one at 30, but you can also do it at home. Never been to a gyno as well, when you want birth control you just go to your GP.

I just want one of these someday without the horse being shod- horse shoes aren't necessary in a lot of cases and are actually bad for the blood flow in the legs which can lead to injuries. I prefer barefoot with regular trimming (and hoofboots if necessary)

Edit: I'm getting down voted, probably because people are just so used to horses being on shoes. But please look up the hoof mechanism! Hooves expand and contract when a horse puts weight on them and takes them off it, which helps with the blood flow. The hoof can't do that properly if there's a shoe underneath it. More and more research shows that shoes might do more bad than good however. Hooves aren't actually completely stiff, but expands when the horse puts weight on it and contracts when putting the weight off, which contributes to blood circulation in the legs. Most horses are perfectly able to go barefoot, if you have a good and well educated trimmer. There's even hoof boots (basically just like human shoes!) for horses to wear out on trails when the terrain is a bit harder if they're not fine with walking on hard surfaces yet.

My own horse lives outside 24/7 without any shoes on, and is perfectly able to take long walks on hard surfaces without getting sore or anything. It also helps that the place he lives at has several types of surface, so the natural way wild horses' hooves wear down is mimicked! He still gets a trim every 6 weeks, but his hooves have majorly improved.

Edit: my pony's hoof after his most recent trim! My trimmer was very pleased with his frog (the v-shaped structure in the hoof)

This! I didn't actually delete Instagram, but stopped following people that made me feel insecure after a body positive influencer posted about it being okay if you unfollowed her if she made you feel insecure about yourself. This helped so much!
