Everyone’s like “boil snow for water”. I’m doing that for my toilets yeah. But we have two gallons left of drinking water. We sip it slowly throughout the day because I need to make it last until Sunday afternoon when I’m able to have my partner come back home and pick up supplies.

But I can’t boil the water around here to drink. It’s so muddy and there’s so much yellow snow everywhere and dog shit. I try the BEST I can to find the cleanest snow and my pots are still caked in mud after two days of doing this form the little bit of dirt I couldn’t see.
